posted a message on TnT minecart
Yes, I am aware that this sounds like one of the stupidest ideas ever suggested, but please hear me out.

Appearance - A tnt minecart looks like a storage minecart with tnt instead of a chest

Mechanic - When the tnt is activated, it will wait out the timer (equal to a regular tnt's timer) and then explode. Because it is in a minecart, the blast power is only 3 (1 less than regular tnt).

Activation - It is activated when power is supplied to the block ABOVE the minecart (The visual spot of the tnt). It can not be activated from detector rails, or redstone on the ground (that would supply power to rails).

Reason - The same reason we have regular tnt. It's a completely ridiculous and funny way to kill mobs. Not only that, but it would be a great addition to adventure maps.

posted a message on Iron Chests
Iron chests are made by surrounding a chest with iron bars. They work exactly like normal chests. However, they can not be set on fire and must be destroyed with a stone pick or above. Because they can't be set on fire (and would naturally have a higher explosive resistance as a result of being iron), they would work well as (open) storage in the Nether as ghasts and lava won't be able to destroy the chest. They also would not be destroyed by lava which makes them grief resistant and prevents you from losing everything upon accidently setting your wooden floor on fire.
