This Modpack is for players who want to experience Minecraft in a new way but staying to its roots. To achieve this I have added many mods that improve the Minecraft experience and give the player an extra edge while balancing it with the increased difficulty of mobs, and the addition of thirst and seasons. On top of that a new world type called realistic from the Realistic Terrain Generation Mod makes the landscape, just that, realistic and beautiful. Here are a few pictures of the terrain you might encounter.
Every mod has a distinct purpose to fulfill and no Mods do completely the same thing, a often occurence you see in Mod Packs such as tekkit and other "futuristic mod packs." I will go over the core mods and their purpose below.

The Camping Mod adds tents, fur armor, a backpack, and a lantern. This this mod can be very useful in travel and making your mining trips longer and safer. For example, lanterns can be used to light the way on your mining trips and tents give you a comfortable place to sleep and store goods.
Tinkers' Construct 2 adds a extremely wide variety of fully customizable tools and weapons with unique attributes. It will increase your chances of survival and make the process of everything just that much more fun and rejuvenating. For example, tools such as the excavator and the hammer mine a 3x3 hole making clearing land much easier than before but at the cost of lots of materials in order to make and keep the tool functioning. But that's not all, Tinkers' Construct adds a smeltery which doubles the output of ores and is used to craft all metal weapons.

Tough As Nails adds seasons, temperature, and thirst. This mod makes it a priority to save up food for the winter and to watch where you live, certain biomes are too cold or too hot to live in permanently(without a heater or a cooler). It not only adds thirst but makes it a bit of a challenging addition, with the fact that you need use charcoal filters or rain collectors in order to get clean water.

Minecraft Comes Alive is a mod which replaces villagers with fully interactive NPC's who can trade, talk, and even have relationships with you. This mod adds an extra layer of depth to the Modpack and a goal to follow. Will you have a family in the middle of the woods or will you have a small village run and owned by you? This is all possible in this mod.

Rough Mobs makes mobs much more interesting and hard, with things such as skeletons riding on horse back with a sword in their off hand, to a crazy diamond plated zombie boss which when defeated, can drop some pretty cool loot. Some of the additions are increased following range for most mobs at 30 blocks, zombies at 60! All skeletons carry some weapon in their off weapon which they will use if you get too close. Spiders will give you a slowness affect and if it is applied enough they can rap you in webs. and the list goes on and on for you to discover! (Contact me, earlyshooter, if you have balancing issues, as all of this is completely configurable!)

Fast Leaf Decay adds, just that, very fast leaf decay!
Guide Book Mod lets you see crafting recipes for many items in the game. (currently lacking a lot of recipes from other mods though sorry! If you find another book mod let me know.)
Hopper Ducts Mod Adds a pipe system for hoppers helping you transport items faster and for less resources.
Optifine Improves game FPS and allows use of shaders!
Placable Items allows you to place ALL food items, All mineral items, and even bows and swords. And the best part is when you place down the food you can eat it right off the table!
Sophisticated Wolves improves the wolf AI and adds wolves of various colors. Now wolves are very useful companions!
Storage Drawers Allow you to visualize and organize your storage. Drawers are also pretty good looking furniture for your home!

The command prompt from the .bat file comes up for less than half a second then disappears without opening anything up. Despite me putting in the right information for the .bat file. :/
The .bat file is 100% correct so I'm not sure what else to say about why it doesn't work. I mean, it just crashes as soon as I it! I posted some pictures for you to see to show that this is the case. But a better question is. Why in the world is the .exe version not up on the minecraft.net website?
So since minecraft 1.9 came out I decided "why not update my server ay?" so I got to the website and the only server file I can download is minecraft_server.jar and not minecraft_server.exe. Seeing this I looked for the reason why it wasn't there and found none. The next logical step was to download the .jar version of it. Tutorials told me that I had to open it using a .bat file with this in it (java -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar minecraft_server.jar). I also tried changing minecraft_server.jar to minecraft_server.1.9 and that didn't work. And now I'm stuck with no where to go.
I need help with either making a server using the .jar version or by finding out where in the world minecraft_server.exe went, I mean why wouldn't it be there?

Now, it says that the minimum version of forge is 10.13.3 and I have 10.13.2 so I look for 10.13.3(note that I'm looking for a 1.7.10 version of forge) and I can't find it anywhere. if you know where it is please paste a link in the comments it would really help me out.

Why should we chose you for the server?: For three reasons, I love minecraft, I will follow the rules of the server, and... I really don't have a good challenging survival server and it would be really nice if you accepted me
Strength's: Building, mining, learning new things about the game as far as redstone and building techniques, and fighting mobs.
Weakness's: I spend to much time on building and not actually going to the nether and stuff like that (progressing basically) :/

Have you ever played on a Vanilla Server before? Why aren't you playing on it anymore if you have: Well I have played on a survival server. I quit playing on my last server because there were no monsters to fight so it got kind of boring :/
Why do you want to join Craftbound SMP?: Why not? I'm always looking for that permanent minecraft server to play on.
Are you a community oriented person (Will you participate in group events)?: I will if I here about them, usually that's not the case and I'm sorry about that.

After I installing some mods for some reason I have been having tiny lag spikes.
Look at the pictures below for some more information.
Edit: I am running a server at the same time and when turning it off the lag spikes stop

hello and thank you for reading my post.
I have...
-created a static ip address.
-port forwarded port 25565 for both tcp and udp using my static ip address as my ip address.
-downloaded my minecraftserver.exe and created my server.
-And I set my static ip address as my server ip address.
I'm not sure what I am doing wrong but other people can't connect to my server. People in my house can but other people outside my home can't.
Help is much appreciated. Also note that I have port forwarded other ports for other games like No More Room In Hell and Total Annihilation.
