There's a couple of different ways explained how exactly to launch the jar, I suggest to try these.
Those methods were outdated. One of the answers was to use https://login.minecraft.net/ but minecraft.net no longer handles authentication. The user asking the question supplied 3 methods and said himself that none of them worked.
Guessing you didn't read through what i said because the code I showed above said exactly what's on the site you sent. That's what I used and it didn't work.
And after placing the username and session ID it still does not work since now you must launch the version? I was a bit confused on this and was hoping someone can point me into the right direction.

Past Experience Running A Server: Set up a server for some really well known people, my most recent is a twitch streamer who has 270k followers. I know how to setup panels and setting up multicraft, and other panels and install things like SQL, php and apache/nginx so I can help you with that if you run into issues.

A custom survival experience with a custom map probably made in world machine and world painter. Possibly a few custom gamemodes because generic servers don't get many players at all.

I dont have any previous builds to share but I was a builder on a server with 200+ players and got accepted as a trial on MC-Central but quit because I didn't want to be apart of that build team.

I'm developing a custom launcher and my launching script is off.
I found this:
java -Xms512m -Xmx1g -Djava.library.path=natives/ -cp "minecraft.jar;lwjgl.jar;lwjgl_util.jar" net.minecraft.client.Minecraft <username> <sessionID>[/pre]
