This is a really cool mod! Keep it up!

How would one create a language pack? Let's say someone was being a troll and wanted to create their "own" language. How would they go about making one and putting it into Minecraft? (Like a mod.)

Recently in the Single Player Commands mod, there has been this glitch with the “WorldEdit” portion. Basically it works like this: You generate a world and you can easily use the “//wand” and “//brush” commands. But after you save and quit, close the client, and come back, the commands don’t work. (Sometimes it takes more than one try for it to not work, but all my creative worlds have had to be scrapped because of the lack of WorldEdit.)

BUT WAIT!

//wand STILL gives you your wooden axe. But when you left/right click, no positions can be selected. Not too sure about the //brush tool but a lot of people have been mentioning the brush command as well as the wand command so I included it here.

Honestly, I’ve read many people complain about it online, and the common solution that everyone seems to give is, “Re-install it.” You might want to give it a try, however this is not a guarantee since many other people have noted that this does not work either.
A rather rash solution I have thought of is backup your worlds and then delete the “.minecraft” folder. Then run the Minecraft client again. I don’t know if this will work.

Notes: (Don’t ask these below!)

-WorldEdit works in that world for the first few plays.

-This happened on my old computer. I now have a laptop which works great, but with the same glitch.

-//pos1 and //pos2 still work.

-This isn’t just my problem, many people to seem to be having it.

-If I create an new world, WorldEdit still works on it, then later on THE GLITCH STRIKES AGAIN!

-The other single player commands work, and the other WorldEdit commands seem to work fine as well

It has been answered! A search for outline might have answered it! Did you even try?

What helped me on servers was reducing my render distance. It's not really a PC horsepower issue, it's more of all those chunks that have to render for the Far render distance need extra communication between you and the server.

You also have to be very wary of how you respond to block lag. When you break a block and it doesn't immediately disappear, don't be so quick to try and break it again because that tends to set off all the anti-cheat mods. Some mods warn you, sometimes the warning doesn't come right away, sometimes you get teleported or even kicked.

Technically there are different types of network slowness. "Block lag" is actually related to latency. Latency isn't about how much data can be pushed through your Internet connection, it's about how fast the connection responds. This is tricky for some because an Internet speed test will show you throughput (how many MBs your connection has) but latency is the time it takes to start the push of data. If you've ever seen video of conversations between the ISS and Earth, the time delay between when one end talks and the other can hear it is latency. Latency is hard to fix without changing ISPs, and it could be on the server hosting end too. The best thing is to be aware of the latency and don't respond in a way that can accidentally set off anti-cheat mods.
