Do the cobweb/minecart thing in the case they don't have a minecart, to buy some extra time. Then after you turn a couple corners, make a bridge with the rail on it go over a cave lake of water, and have a secret tunnel under water. Jump off your minecart and push it along, then you jump in the water and go through the secret entrance. The rail tunnel keeps going till it loops back to where it started, or just dead ends. Now you go through the underwater tunnel and come up to a room with a nether portal. The nether portal takes you to the nether and a hallway path leads you to another nether portal 128 blocks away. That one puts you in a room in the overworld with a ladder going to the surface for an escape. But, you never went into the portal. There is a secret door in the first portal room that takes you to your safe room. The follower is now 1000 blocks away from you on the surface.

Your repeaters are facing the wrong way on the return side. If you look closely, repeaters are kinda shaped like arrows, pointing in the direction the signal will flow.

    Maybe...Use CustomName:CartFlying instead of Name=CartFlying.

I also don't think you need the quotation marks.

umm.. still dont know how to use them in the structure block

Change the structure block to "Load" mode. Copy whichever structure's text you want from my Spoiler, then paste it in the field "Structure Name". Click 'Load' button. Then, activate the Structure Block with a Redstone signal.

    Examples:

    Structure Names:

    End City:
    endcity/base_floor
    endcity/base_roof
    endcity/bridge_end
    endcity/bridge_gentle_stairs
    endcity/bridge_piece

Since these are built-in to 1.10, just type in the name you want into a structure block set to 'Load'. Or copy/paste from the Spoiler.

posted a message on New Command Block GUI

For the /clone command or any other that requires coordinates at the beginning of the command, you can use the TAB key to auto-fill the coordinates.

    For example:
    - Look at first block, then type "/clone", then SPACE TAB SPACE TAB SPACE TAB and press ENTER
    - Then look at the second block, type "/", press the UP ARROW key, then SPACE TAB SPACE TAB SPACE TAB, ENTER
    - Then look at the lowest coordinate block you want to clone to, type: "/", press UP ARROW key, then SPACE TAB SPACE TAB SPACE TAB, but don't press ENTER this time or the command will execute. Instead, do CTRL+A, then CTRL+C to copy it. Then you can paste into command block and add the remaining arguments, or add the arguments prior to copying.

The tab auto-fill will only work when the spacing is correct...like, you gotta have a space after "/clone", and a space between each coordinate.

If you already know this, then I apologize for the redundancy, but maybe it'll hep someone else too.

posted a message on New Command Block GUI

I am proposing a new command block GUI that better complements the new 'chain' setup and other improvements.

It would allow for text wrapping in the command lines, the ability to paste-in several commands at once, and automatically change any command block after the first one to "Chain" mode, among other things.

Here are pics to better explain my idea:

    Figure 1

This image shows what the command interface would be with just one block, one command.

    Figure 2

This image shows the command interface of the first block in a two-block chain.

    Figure 3

This image shows multiple command blocks in a chain, and shows the addition of a scroll bar.

    Figure 4

This image shows and example of how text-wrapping would look.

    Figure 5

This image has markups to explain everything.

    Thanks for looking!

posted a message on Is Minecraft Losing Popularity?
    Quote from FlyingWild»
The answer to the question is overall sales of Minecraft over the last 36 months. Does anyone have these figures?

Sales have nothing to do with how good something is, and how many people enjoy it. Say, in one year 10,000,000 people bought Minecraft, and the next 5 years only 1 person bought Minecraft, that doesn't mean that now only 1 person plays it. For that matter, Minecraft could not even sell 1 more copy and it would still be very popular because everyone who already owns it plays it and enjoys it. Again, sales mean nothing.
I'm 29 years old and currently only play Minecraft, that is until GTAV is released for PC, then I'll play just those 2 games. Stereotyping is only for the ignorant...just let them be ignorant and move on.

posted a message on Lan with one account
    Use version 1.8.1pre1 or later.

Go to .minecraft folder and edit "launcher_profiles.json"...find " "displayName": "USERNAME" (your name) and change it to something different. Save.

The player with the better computer needs to load a world, hit Esc and start LAN.

EDIT: You may need to disconnect from the internet before loading the Launcher, as the change you made might get overwritten automatically.
