Me and my girlfriend play on a server together -- just us and we are planning on making a massive castle that has a town on the inside, but we are doing it legit. We are mining all materials and getting stuff ready -- but this has caused some issues. In the area we are, strip-mining has left massive giant square holes around that I do not want to build near. So I was wanting to build further away, with the possibility of using some sort of gate or portal that can be connected together.
I don't want a command based warp. We want something we can physically implement into the actual world and use. And it would be preferable if it wasn't a sign warp, but a physical structure we need to build to use.
I have a SSP world I love but I want to do a LP of a Biosphere world. So I was wondering if installing this mod will affect my current world when new chunks generate. Or if it will only affect new worlds.
I just downloaded the release of the game so my current LP world is now le gone. So, I'm downloading a few maps to do an LP of. If you're interested in me doing yours, PM me and let me know.
Looks like your putting lots of work into this. I look forward to the download.
Thanks :smile.gif:. And ya I am trying. I know I can't do giant towns because they'd end up looking dumb. So I am trying to keep it within what I know I can do.
I am also trying to keep the map itself as real as I can, which is not as easy as it sounds lol.
Introduction
While this is still a Work In Progress, I wanted to start up a post on here to help me keep track of my own progress, as well as give some insight into the Adventure Map I am making. As it stands, this map only had a few hours of work into it as it stands, but I am extremely happy with how this is turning out thus far. I don't want to give TO much out, but I will give a small back story.
Story:
The story follows Gus Maligna, an older man whose life has been full of hard work. A long time ago, his home was raided by a group no one can identify. The entire town was burned to the ground and nothing was left but craters and death. Among the deaths was his Wife Fonia, and his son Derik. However, out of the survivors, his Daughter was unharmed, and after the events had unfolded, he decided to take her and leave.
Many years later, they both ended up in a small trading village, where they had grown accustomed to the new life style. His daughter, who'd become an apprentice under the local Miners and Blacksmith had become very self-sufficient, and he decided to leave her to live the rest of his life in solitude and mourning for his wife.
However, with no intention of leaving the treasure of his life behind, he simply moved deeper into the forest to establish his new life. He slowly built a home with his own hands, a home for two. A home for him and his wife whom he'd lost so many years ago. A home he could return to with his wife, once he passed.
He kept himself busy, becoming a trader. He would grow wheat, hunt down animal skins and wool and do local trading with the town his daughter was a part of. And after each trip, he would return home to continue it all once again.
However, the mans next departure is met with some terrible news, and he finds himself dealing with more than he ever thought he would have to again.
Ideas:
The ideas for the story I want to do keep coming and going and I am often switching stuff up as I go along. While I have something planned out, by the time I get to it, i'v gone a different route instead.
I also want to try to make this less "Go here and do that" and more "Where do you think you should be going". I am also going to be offering a text file, for those who just want the story, and an easy no work playthrough, as well as a "Use your brains" way for those who want a bit more of a challenge.

Adding a few "different" challenges to it doesn't make it original, rofl.

Any feedback would be neat. I am not the most creative when building, so I going with the flow as it were since I am working on this alone :smile.gif:
