i don't know how it didn't give you wither but that is the way to finish the map quickly, it should give you wither every time but if you get rid of it, you finish without having to complete it, it is the "uncompletionist" achievement and is intentional. Don't know why you didn't get withered though
The most i have ever face palmed is seeing holes in the roof/walls that i left, i was doing so good at plugging them but then did a major update and must have been rushing a bit
The problem is the map is only designed for single player so having 2 people breaks a lot of the redstone since it thinks it knows where you are but there's another person.
There you go! Theres also the really obvious hint that everyone misses. When you respawn after the wither arrow, the 1 on the floor is different than what it normally is. Also, the game was losing track of you when you reentered orange from, well, orange and it thought you were in the intersection so it gave you hints according to that. (fixed it now)
You had a problem with orange because you cheated, Admittedly there was a bug not letting you use the hint book but you never used it at a time when it would've been helpful. Also, you don't actually need the wool blocks, taking them out of their respective chest marks you as having it so cheating it in does nothing and losing it after you got it correctly won't be bad.
Version 1.1 is out, after seeing people handle the first intersection, I've made it a bit easier. Pretty much all bugs should be fixed by now, the only main one left is a Minecraft problem causing entities to go invisible when you die.
Use the hint book in an intersection and that will give you hints/solution to get to the next intersection. In version 1.0.5, the full solution to intersection 2 is broken, but in 1.0.6 it works and the tp to wool will bring you straight to the intersection.
I see the problem, the full solution's text uses quotation marks and when i used a filter to make the command block, it didn't escape sequence them so it was giving an error. I'll fix that, put it in the next update, and message you what you should have gotten from that solution.
Also, to your second point, check page 3 of the hint book, but i don't think it works for intersections (I'll make it work next). (You even got the cost right)
There is a problem in Minecraft where if you die near some types of entities (including armor stands, villagers, and item frames) the entity will disappear. It should reappear if you try logging out and back in a few times. I'll look into if anything would have gotten rid of it in the meantime.
You may want to try updating (and just get back to where you were in like 5 minutes), i think i got rid of all of the bugs but there are one or two in the middle that could mess with you. Also, in the version you're playing, i think the very last timer is turned off so there's no way to get to the credits, you can get to right before them (also that light blue not staring thing is fixed, yes it was a bug)
That may be a bug. I just looked at 2 command blocks and if you try orange then go try something else, the hint book will think you're somewhere else. If that's not the case, the color of the description will tell you what the hint is for. Orange for the orange wool, dark blue for intersection 1 (or the blue wool when you get there) and white for the white wool (which is where the bug made it think you were)
And I remember why that is. Funny story. That coal block, i couldn't access without disabling the timer that teleported you down. Guess what i forgot to re-enable. :p, v1.0.1 coming out (is out now)

If by fixed/rebalanced most issues you mean sat with the world open fixing any time a block was out of place, then yea. That's what I did
