Hello! I've got my server set up to automatically download a resource pack for its users. I have it linking directly to the automatic download URL, so I don't think I've done anything wrong there. When I load into the game, it says it's downloading the resource pack. However, the game never seems to load the pack, and it never shows up in my server-resource-packs folder in my Minecraft directory.
I am attempting to use a custom resource pack to change the sound of rain and thunder for minecraft. However, I can not get the sound to change from the vanilla sound no matter what. This is NOT an issue with the resource pack; I have tried multiple ones, and have even made my own. Other sound modifications work, however, weather sounds refuse to change. The files should be titled correctly, (rain1.ogg, rain2.ogg, thunder1.ogg, thunder2.ogg, etc) and they have the correct file path, (examplepack/assets/minecraft/sound/ambient/weather), but it just won't work.
Here are my system details from a crash report I had a while ago.

Any help would be appreciated. I have never heard of this happening, and a google search yielded nothing.
Hello, I am using OptiFine HD C8 for Minecraft 1.7.4, vanilla. I am using the Magic Launcher to run it. Whenever I attempt to log on to my server, I am met with this crash report.

This user seems to be having a similar issue.
Is this an issue with 1.14.4? I'm running spigot, if that changes anything.

...The folder was titled "sound", not "sounds". I'm not sure when they changed that.
...Seems it was an issue with the resource pack, aha.
Sorry to bother, lock/delete this topic as you please.
