I'm not seeing where you're getting that they'll release tomorrow… but yeah, there are a few new things they're working on (including a mooshroom, which is a red cow with mushrooms growing on it).
And Glimmar, as everyone else has stated, your number 1 priority should be the well-being of you and your family. We won't mind if you don't update right away.

As for the proxy issue, I would but I really don't have the time because I have a lot of work at the moment and I still haven't even updated my pack's to 1.8! Sorry buddy! :unsure.gif:

After awhile using this pack I really can't imagine using another, most other packs I used had badly blended textures and inconsistent saturation/contrast.
This pack is just smooth on the eyes.
At the moment I added my own sun/moon and threw in dokus tools/weapons as placeholders (I hate the default equip textures).
Your free to use the sun/moon for the pack if you like, The moon I scaled down and adjusted from a stock I had and the sun I made by hand. Might need some desaturating to fit the pack, not entirely sure.
And finally some screenies of my village I made specifically with this pack in mind:
