i've been playing since late alpha releases and still to this day i have this little fear when i see a huge cave and i look down it and wonder exactly how many things are wanting to murder me down there ((i play on only hard)) and then i also see diamonds... and i have to go down there, its even worse when the diamonds are above lava or a giant hole and im like... whats going to punch me, blow me up, shoot me in the back while im mining lol.
Alright, i've been having the problem of my game randomly stopping, and going to a screen that says "minecraft has run out of memory" and it goes on to say how i could try and fix it, this has happened alot but not on a normal basis, it just happens randomly, no telling when. but that was on single player... and now when im playing it with my friend hosting the server... and it happens again, i don't understand it. how can it "run out of memory" when my friend is hosting the server =.=
i would really enjoy help on fixing this

Everyone who bought the game before the beta release today will get EVERYTHING that's EVER added to minecraft for free. People who buy the game after today's beta release will still get every update and patch up until the final release for free, but every addon/DLC that notch releases after the game reaches its final state will cost something.

alright thank you i understand a bit more... BUT he was talking as if he was going to charge for his updates after the 20th correct?... if beta is about bug fixes then why should he start charging now? and not when he has bug's fixed and is adding more cool features, i may have miss read his post but thats what i got from it when i read it
im really confused as to why hes pushing it into beta so soon?... shouldn't he fix a bunch more shiz in multi before he release it?... i mean we can't go to the nether in multi yet... couldn't he at least work that out and put it into beta then? sorry if i sound rude with this next thing, but it seems to me hes pushing beta so he can pull more cash from pockets for people who can't get it before the 20th... i just don't see why he needs to push it into beta already?... any one willing to fill me in? lol
well it seems to me that you would ether be able to ether create a portal in the world or it would be an item in your inventory so you could portal in and out where ever, but which ever way hes going to make it im sure its going to be epic awesome rofl
