I don't know if I'm doing something wrong but when I tried to make a beta 1.5 instance, everything went fine until it tried to download the minecraft.ptch, which it couldn't. Please help because I have no idea whats causing this!

Cannot include loved ones being killed, kidnapped, tortured, or the like, unless you can do it in a non-cliche manner: Daniel was raised in the capitol city with a hardworking father and a loving mother. Both parents showered Daniel with love, and he too. His father worked as a craftsmen and secretly hoped that Daniel would follow in his footsteps, but he knew if his son were to take another path, he would approve (as long as it was ethical). Daniel grew up to be a bright boy, and his teachers never had enough compliments for him. In his spare time, he often played with his friends and whenever he could, practiced with a short sword his father crafted for him, as long as a bow that his uncle, a Ranger, had given him for his 7th birthday. Daniel, at the age of 12, was taking a stroll around the edge of the island, when he noticed a young kid, Michael, surrounded by Will and his two friends, Anthony and Sloan, two thick-headed brutes. Will was born into nobility, and the years spent ordering servants around had made him snooty and unbearable. Michael seemed to be on the verge of tears, while Will was laughing, obviously making fun of Michael's plain and unadorned blade while he held it in his hand ( Michael wished to become a Bladesman when he grew up). Daniel felt rage boil up in him and he stiffly stalked over to Will, where he promptly plucked the sword out of his hand. Will gave a start of surprise and turned over to face Daniel. His face paled slightly and stuttered: "W-what are you doing here?". "It seems you are picking on my friend over here" Daniel said coldly. Will, regaining his confidence after recovering from his initial shock, retorted "Why does it concern you, peasant? Maybe you should have a talk with my friends, Anthony and Sl-", his sentence unfinished as Daniel slammed his fast into Anthony's gut, the air leaving his lungs in a woosh, he then pivoted on his heel and jabbed his elbow backward, catching Sloan in a rib. Sloan promptly collapsed in a heap, leaving Michael with a look of wonder on his face and Will confused, but with a look of fury slowly coming onto his face. With a yell, he tackled Daniel with the strength of the desperate, carrying them both back, back back...straight off the edge of the island. After a minute, they both appeared back onto the island, Daniel with all of his equipment, his Essence gathered from years of hard work saving his items, while Will sat on the ground with a look of shock on his face, his richly adorned jacket and coin bag gone, due to the fat that he hadn't participated in any chores sine he was born, having servants do all the work for him. After that day, Daniel's renown grew even more, but his close friends could detect a slight change in his actions, now, he carried his bow, quiver, and short sword with him whenever he went, and he was a bit more wary and less open. After the incident, none of the kids saw Will again, and they certainly didn't want to see him again. What is your character’s main goal? (Motivation): To train and become one of the best Rangers, and to eventually settle down to live a peaceful life.
Strengths (Both physical and personality: Has an open, caring personality to a majority of the people. He is slow to anger, but when he is angry, he is an opponent to be reckoned with. He is extremely athletic, agile, swift, and is quite muscular.
Weaknesses (Both physical and personality. Not knowing how to do something that is outside of your class is not a weakness. IE not knowing how to use bows and magic, if you are a swordsman):Often has a hard time forgiving those that he has lost trust in, is extremely cranky when not having a proper amount of sleep, and is prone to sickness. Another thing that he doesn't like to mention is a long scar that runs down his right shoulder, a result of an accident when he fell down a tree when he was about 15. Although not life threatening, Daniel could never find himself to be able to swing a sword with the agility he used to be able to, nor shoot his bow with his previous accuracy. Furthermore, after his fight with Will, Daniel found himself with an innate fear of heights, the reason he fell off the tree was a sudden flashback of the sensation of free-falling off of the edge of the Islands with no idea if he would live or die.

Daniel felt a boiling rage in himself, and he quickly scanned the area, running into a nearby alley. Within a few moments, both men cried out, the smaller one yelping out in pain while the older one let out a string of curses, both clutching their heels where an arrow protruded. Without wasting a moment, Daniel slung his bow back on his back and sprinted forward, grabbing the young girl and bringing her to the guards, who thanked him and immediately began searching for the girl's parents.
A man approaches you with a proposition - Go to Bloodstone and retrieve something for him, and you will be well rewarded.
Daniel considers the offer for a few seconds and accepts the offer, asking what he is to retrieve and where it is, along with the reward he would receive.
You pass an old man lying on the side of the street, begging for food.

Hi guys, im running version 1.2.5 and im having trouble with dinosaurs not moving in this mod. So far every triceratops and stegosaurus ive hatched just stands in place indefinitely... ive read all over this topic looking for a clue and even seen similar questions, but no solution. any ideas? thanks for the help.

hmm i dont know then as far as i know the only way is to spawn him (be careful keep it away from ur creations if you spawn it in) and about that 20 seconds....i will have to beat it
well you cant exactly summon him hes just a random nether mob youll know hes near when something on your screen goes knees down resistance is futile and all that i am lord stuff (btw i pwned him in about 1 minute not that hard)
