I think it would be a cool idea for someone to make a server that was basically a never ending war. Before you say," Oh there's many servers for that, idiot." Let me go through the details.
There would be a massive world with seas and countries. It would basically be a smaller rendition of earth.
You would start at a hub in the sky, and you would pick your country. Countries have rivals, and allies. For instance, the USA has Iraq as a rival and the UK as an ally. And so on and so forth.
When you start, you join that country's army. If there is a civil war, which happens randomly, they get to choose if they want to rebel or stay loyal.
Now, for the army details. (Note that I am making this up as I go along) There would be ranks
You would start at Private, then Corporal, the Sergeant, then Staff Sergeant, Lieutanant, Captain, Colonel, General, Major General. And you could also choose Drill Sergeant After you haave enough experience on the field of combat.
The server could use the same plugin as mc-war for the weapons. But could also use gun mods.
You will get positioned at a post in any country. If you argue you could get demoted or even executed! Battles will arise as like a real war, and you have to follow your squad leader's commands as close as possible. you would automatically be in squad chat with your squad and your positions would come up as colors for your name.
You may be on the offensive or defensive side of your army.
Some chosen people in a country would get permissions to be in an aquatic squad and take the jungle rivers by storm.
You will be assigned your role in the squad by your squad leader.
You will get issued the regulated armor and weapons for your positions in your squad, the heavy gunner would get the LMG, the demo man would get the rocket launcher,the sniper would get, of course, the sniper rifle, and other gunmen and the squad leader would get rifles and other perks.
That's about all there is to it! I hope one of you will do this and credit me for this.
