I tested the basic version which worked flawlessly. Get 45 fps. Then I tested the Basic Shaders v8 Regular nd my computer freeze and restarts.. That can't be good.. What's going on?
Unfortunately I don't seem to be able to use this wonderful mod on my crappy computer. max fps is 25 which is not acceptable. I wonder if it's possible to JUST have the better water activated and not the SSAO effects? I am able to deactivate the water but that doesn't help my fps problem. It would be awesome to have the better water though.
In the end if nothing else works I find that if use your mod and select internal shader I get better antialiasing so im going to stick with theses shaders.. just.. not activated :/
Ah not sure if this was related to the id mismatch I had but now I at least can connect to the server. Unfortunately though.. no mo creature mobs in sight and when I hit F6 for the menu the game crashes. The server is still running so it's a local thing.

NVM! I figured it all out. Everything seems to be working perfectly. After 2 days of trying to get this server to work exactly the way I wanted I finally made it! Now.. I will probably want to add something else soon and mess up my gaming time even further
Just in case you are, don't install the GUIAPI on the server.
(Actually, last time I tried, the GUIAPI was crashing my client as well. Fortunately I don't really ever need to use it.)

If you want Bukkit plugins and Forge mods, try MCPC+. I'm running 47 Forge mods and 11 Bukkit plugins on mine.
Nice! Well I tried out MCPC+ now but unfortunately it won't run mo creatures.. Is the install order different? I tried out a couple of other mods which worked. Plugins also worked fine. If you could help me that would be awesome.
Actually I wasn't able to connect to the server. Got a id mismatch 17. Tried installing the correct forge version but STILL I get the same error..
It doesn't seem like I understand these plugins correctly.. I installed this shader with forge. I have Optifine HD U C4 and I don't see any fps increase from the last version. Should I install the lite version of Optifine or is that irrelevant? I don't understand the difference from lite to ultra. I have tinkered with the options to get max fps now and I had to settle for SEUS LITE to get 40 fps. Anything under that makes the game unplayable for me.
Another thing. Is the water really supposed to look like this? It looks good in flat water but this.. It looks pretty weird.
I am 35. I downloaded this game for my daughter last year. At first I thought it was pretty boring and a typical kids game. But I was wrong.. Now, one year later, I am really passionate about this game. The possibilities are endless and it actually is the game I wish Skyrim could be.
Hey I loaded my world and now all my waypoints are gone I moved the save out of the saves folder for backup and I believe this is the reason. Where is the data saved? I hope I can get it back since I had mapped out hundreds of kilometers lol
Something is definetely wrong here ..But I don't think it's the mod. How long time are we talking about here? I have been playing since the mod came out of dev and I have zero issues. I DID adjust the spawns of some creatures though but only the ogre's and giants(?) Have you tried lowering the spawn rate?

Nice! Well I tried out MCPC+ now but unfortunately it won't run mo creatures.. Is the install order different? I tried out a couple of other mods which worked. Plugins also worked fine. If you could help me that would be awesome.
Actually I wasn't able to connect to the server. Got a id mismatch 17. Tried installing the correct forge version but STILL I get the same error..
The server runs fine though.
