I apologize for making another thread, but this is a big enough change to warrant one.
I need a $500(ish) PC for playing general games. I don't need an OS, and I don't need a monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc.
A friend of mine told me to make http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Tqtjgs but with a 760K instead of an 860K for the processor. It was so that I don't have to flash the BIOS on the motherboard or something similar.
The build came out to a total of about $515 including shipping for all the parts. The graphics card I used for that number was the same as the one above, but from Amazon.
Thanks! That looks great. The keyboard and mouse combo has great reviews and a great price, too. And I checked where Akame mentioned, and I can get a copy of Win8 for around $40.
What would I upgrade if I increased my budget to about $650-ish dollars?
Getting a decent gaming PC for $500 if you need the monitor and the OS is rather difficult, after those two you'd be left with $300 for the tower which isn't exactly a lot.
I made some posts long ago about building a PC, and it never happened.
I need a $500 PC that includes a monitor. Recommendations for mice/mouses (which is right for the computer peripheral?) and a keyboard would be nice, but I might not need to buy those.
There's no games that I specifically plan on playing, just a bit of everything. I have no priority for running Minecraft extremely well. I would much rather have better general performance for a tradeoff on Minecraft performance.
Some quick questions:
-How will it run things?
-Is it really that easy to build one on your own?
-I remember you guys always recommended the cheapest ram available, is that still true? Why?
-How long will it last?
-When is it predicted that I will NEED to upgrade things? Past this point it's mostly just upgrading the graphics card for a while, right?
-Intel CPUs were generally better for Minecraft because they usually had less cores, right?
Thanks a million, I remember this place as being the greatest. All answers are appreciated.
EDIT: I might be able to find a bit more if purchasing a monitor is really necessary.
I can't even describe how bad the cello sounds even while I am listening through terrible speakers.... would be worse if I actually got my decent headphones.
This guy looks tough, we can figure something out.
Yeah, that happens to me a lot (when I still played XB minecraft)
Playing with my friends is a big motivation for me to get up and actually flex my building muscles. It's fun playing with them, but making a city with a new town hall/currency/homes and plots for out group of friends gets kinda old every update.
-move to Arizona for good gun laws but still close to family
-build shooting range
-make long distance shooting range
-make automatic skeet shooting traps
-get various cowboy weapons and be John Marston
-hoard cool guns and a TON of match grade ammo
-moar expensive ammo
-moar expensive ammo
-make the price of common ammo go up
-sell and make more money
Thing is; unless your an Australian, it is too inconvenient for anyone other than an aussie. Pretty much no one would come from other countries because it is too isolated from almost everywhere.

I was planning on doing that, but with http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811853002&cm_re=deepcool_tesseract_side_window-_-11-853-002-_-Product for the case, because it's not sold out and has fine reviews.

What do I do? All replies are appreciated.

I probably already have the OS. What would $100 more be able to get?
I might have a monitor somewhere, but likely not. Only small TVs.

For example, the 3rd picture has the entire background blurry. It just doesn't look.... right. maybe leave the sky un-edited or something....
God, every single one of these is the same...
EDIT: On the 3rd picture it doesn't even look like that they are standing...
