If you're looking for the "mods" folder in .minecraft, you'll need to start up Minecraft itself once. The folder won't be created unless you do. I hope that's what you're looking for, it was a great source of confusion for me for awhile, too!
I mean, the installer tells me to locate and select the ModLoader.zip archive, and I don't know where that is. Are you saying if ModLoader is installed correctly, the archive would appear in the mods folder?
I'm trying to download millenaire, and I'm on the ModLoader step. Each time I install ModLoader exactly how I'm supposed to, but I can't find the ModLoader.zip archive. What is the archive and where is it located?

Well, I started with a fresh minecraft.jar, and watched up to the part where I open minecraft to create a mods folder, but I still blackscreened. I am really in a rut.
Yes, I did. That was what I explained yesterday with the whole copypasta to minecraft.jar and whatnot.
Or maybe that was 2 days ago...
But yes, I went through, after doing exactly what ML told me to do, then deleted META-INF, so I went on to millenaire. Googled a video, and I was told to download, then take all the non folder class files, paste em into the jar, then go into the files, and paste them into the corresponding files in the jar. After doing that and making absolute SURE that there wasn't a META-INF file hiding in my library, minecraft still black-screened. I also downloaded one of the 1.6 versions, and I am currently using 1.8 on minecraft, so that's ok...
I don't think the installer works on Macs, am not sure though?
Yes, it does. On millenaire.org, there is the option to download either the Mac OS X version, Linux, or Windows. And the M OS X version is highlighted purple, so that must have been the one I downloaded.

Yeah, I just googled it, command shift 3 saves the screen to my desktop, while command shift 4 saves a window my screen to the desktop. If I do command control shift (3/4), saves to my clipboard instead.

1. I didn't notice the question was answered, and you are denying your name is spelled 'f-e-l-i-n-o-e-l'? And no, the fact that I capitalized the F does not make in incorrect.
2. No, I use a Macintosh because they are better in every aspect except gaming. I don't see why 80% of the internet is composed of PC users. Aside from the fact it's better for gaming...
But yeah, I opened the .jar and installed millenaire and copypasta into the .jar and all that, but I can't run minecraft, the installer when I checked it said ML and millenaire is not installed, and I'm positive I deleted META-INF.

I started playing Halo soon after I turned 10.
Of course, I didn't get Xbox live for about 6-7 months, and even then couldn't talk to strangers over the headset.
