Thank you for responding, Jeheace and FelixPath! I'll try the creative mode trick to get my bee boxes going. If either of you/anyone else has more insight into this issue or any thoughts please post! I am so so very excited about Minecraft bees, I would love to talk more and learn about them!
Hi all, I know its early in the piece and the new snapshot is bound to be filled with bugs (hehehe) but I seem to be experiencing a bug that is preventing any bees from cultivating honey once I move them to a player-made hive. While living in the nest in which they spawned, the bees are prosperous and making honey quickly and efficiently, but even when they are carrying pollen and entering the man-made hive, they honey level won't go up at all. This is happening in 2 different worlds that I have generated today, one with a seed I found online, and one with a random new seed.
Anyone else experiencing the same problem? I'm not really expecting there to be a fix for this yet, but I want to hear your experiences. Cheers

Yes, I had campfires placed under the hives. Hmmm, I wonder if that's the cause.
