Downloaded this map just a little while ago, so nothing photo worthy to share yet. Have to say tho, having a lot of fun. Been a while since Minecraft actually had me paranoid and watching my back every moment. :smile.gif: First impression is: Very cool and lots of fun.
I had fixed the tunnels and stuff, but I think my save was skipped and the person after me downloaded from the first post... All I know is that when I came back later and thought about taking it, none of my stuff was there anymore. You should always be downloading the save from the last returned post in the thread. *shrugs*
Here's what I did:
- expanded the wheat and sugarcane farms
- widened the tunnels (2x1 seemed claustrophobic to me)
- started a strip mine at level 40 although another at level 13-15 would be good too.
- farmed some iron and coal
- Expanded the storage area and added ovens and an infinite water pool
- planted trees topside for harvesting later
- Started a couple very short tunnels off the main glass tunnel, vaguely in the direction of the dome to be. Could be used as connections once the dome is built maybe, but I will leave dome building to someone with more experience.
I leveled some of the beach around the entrance, just because I kept coming out and getting ambushed by I couldn't see over the lip :smile.gif: Hope no one minds, but now it's easier to see them as you're coming up out of the tunnel.
Nice world, I look forward to taking it again once a few others have had a go!
Taken! This looks really interesting. I love underwater houses. I'll see what I can do. Is there a time limit? If not, i should have it back in aprox 5 hours (10pm CST)
I have to say that your ghast was so epic, that I needed to copy the idea. Although mine is not quite as epic as yours, since I made it on my SMP and hacked in the wool for it (but then dyed it all by hand), however, I think I do score a bit of epic points, for facing it at my husband's house and building a flaming ball of death as well, so when he walked out his door that night, the first thing he saw was a ghast spitting a giant fireball at his house. I think he soiled himself a bit.
