thoes are missing or altered/corrupted .class files in one of your .jar files, I would guess its a minecraft_server.jar? If so you need to goto minecraft.net and download a new minecraft_server.jar, Or even better the Minecraft Server.exe
A Detailed step by step tutorial on setting up your own vanilla minecraft server. Will be making a second video on how to run and use your server if I get enough support to do so.
almost done, just waiting for it to upload, filesize is crazy big :S made them as small as i could in fraps, also if I left anything out I will be here 24/7 to answer any questions you have, and if I missed something big, I can make a 2nd video
EDIT: Grr takin so long because youtube is being dumb, my video keeps saying "Processing" might have to re-upload it
My friend has a server set up, all good and lag free (for the most part). The only thing that is stopping us from playing is that I get disconnected from the server quite often. When I get disconnected I get a Java Error message. I can really describe to you what it looks like. But it is just a long chain of words/letters.
Currently Notch is STILL upgrading the minecraft.net servers, so when your online and the minecraft.net log in server goes down you get dc'd with a simular message
your not an idiot, click your start button and in the search box at the bottom type "cmd" and hit enter, brigs up dos command, type "java -version" and tell me what it says
I did the CMD thing and every time I typed in Java-version it just said "java-version" is not recognized as an internal or external command etc.
Did I do something wrong? :/
(and thanks whiteice217 for the info :happy.gif:)
there needs to be a space between java and -version :smile.gif:
