ModLauncher is a new launcher that we are developing. We plan to release it September. We will add more info, screens and clean this post soon and make it look nice, but here are some of the features we are adding.

Mods Supported By ModLauncher:

1. Almost any mod that can be Loaded with forge, modloader or modloaderMP
2. ModLauncher Supports the GuiAPi, PlayerAPI, and RenderPlayerAPI
3. Almost EVERY MOD direct injected or loaded

Launcher Features

Friends System - Allows you to add friends, adds a friends list with the ability to IM, and invite them into your game (SMP invite only)

Server Lists - The launcher will include Server Lists, 1 for Bukkit / Vanilla servers, and 1 for Modded Servers. The launcher features the ability to rate/ Favorite / review servers and much more! The server list also features a join button that on click will launch the game and directly connect you to that server. the server list / launcher will minimize into the tray until you exit game or click on it.

Mod System - When adding a Modded server to the server list you select what version of minecraft, forge / modloader and what mods your server runs. When a client clicks join on your server in the server list. The launcher will download all of the mods it needs and run the proper version of minecraft / modloader. Taking the hassle out of telling your users to install "insert mods here" to connect.


Single player mod config - If you wish to play with mods in your single player you can click the configuration tab and simple check which mods you wish to use and what version of minecraft you wish to play and it will load the respective mods up and launch your game.

Optimization - We have optimized the way mods are stored and loaded so instead of downloading the same mod everytime you connect to a server that uses it it only needs to download once, and it will not load that mod unless told to. You can also choose where the launcher installs minecraft / mods to save space.

Customize your Play! - Whether your a server owner configuring your server settings on our website or a user wanting to play single player you can choose from many settings!

Unlike normally where you have to search for what you want, download it, install in and then run minecraft. With MyMcLauncher simply click a onscreen menu option and use a GUI to select what you want and click GO!

Legal - Because this launcher downloads and installs mods, the launcher connects to a database that looks where to download them from. The links we use to download the mods are either Official Links by the mod developer, or links authorized by the developer.


The launcher has many more features. We plan to clean up this post, add Screens and more later this week.

However in the mean time any feedback, requests, for the launcher just reply. Also you can reply to show your support so we can get a feel of how many people would use this system.

Siegecraft: is a massive overhaul to Minecraft. Siegecraft due to its specifications can actually be classified as a MMORPG, as well as a FPS and Strategy based game. Siegecraft is a massive Siege battle in were two teams the attackers and defenders play their part in this epic battle. The defenders play the part of the native inhabitants, In the first installment: Area 51, defenders would be: The Military, Facility Workers, Engineers, and Scientists. The attackers in Area 51, are Russian Black ops sent to secure a top secret weapon stored in the depths of the facility. Siegecraft is a massive overhaul to Minecraft. To cover everything in this thread would simply not be possible. A few of its epic features are listed below. Please use the Official Siegecraft Website / Wiki (Coming Soon...) for more info.

Siegecraft Features:

• Runs on its own launcher - Due to the complexity of Siegecraft and all of its modifications. We have developed a launcher that will automatically download, and install the mods. The launcher adds a official server list that scans for Official Siegecraft servers. The Single play button has been replaced with a "Join Official Server" button. These are just a few of the modifications we have made to make running Siegecraft easier. Siegecraft creates a new .Siegecraft folder so it does not interfere with your normal .minecraft folder.

• Multiplayer Only - 100+ Players - Siegecraft simply wouldn't be as epic if there were not a lot of people. In order to accommodate a server load of this size Siegecraft has optimized its server software.

• Donor Features - Donate to Siegecraft and receive exclusive benefits. This benefits include: In-Game Siegecraft Cloak, and Guaranteed Beta Access This November. As Siegecraft continues more Benefits will be added. However as I and the developers are gamers we make 1 promise! Donating will not give game play advantages over non donator players except knowledge due to early access.

• Class Selection System When you get in the game you have the option of not only choosing your preferred team, but also your class. Classes are things like: Military, Scientist, Engineer (For Defenders) and Soldier, Tech, Scout, Sniper (For Attackers). Each class has a specific set of stats, items and skills. For example the Engineers and Hackers are the only ones who can interface entirely with Computers and Com systems.

• RP / Profiles upon selecting your class you can also vote for preferred profiles. A profile is who you are in the game. Every one is given a profile and you can select profiles which you prefer to get. A example profile would contain(Your Name, Your job, Information that helps you learn your role / character ) "Bob, Bio weapons development, lab: 305, workstation user ---- password ---- more info about bob and his job"

• In Game Dynamic Voice System The best way to describe this is Real Life. You are able to walk down a hallway in Area51 and if you have a mic plugged in and someone is near you simply talk. This system is dynamic based on Line of Sight and Distance to determine if someone can hear you and if the sound should be faded or clear. We have also added a vote kick system to prevent mic spammers. Due to the fact we have removed the ability to type / communicate via default Minecraft text prompt we have also add pre-recorded messages people can use if they don't have a mic

• Completely Dynamic - Each team has a Commander, your commander is in charge of commanding the facility - for defenders, and decided the battle plan - for attackers. While the Game has 1 main objective to win, Kill the attackers (for defenders) and secure the top secret weapon (for attackers) the way to get to that objective is dynamic, meaning your decisions and actions effect your options and path going forward. A example of this: as a Attacker commander you have the option to select your attack type (Full Attack, Stealth Mission, Etc.) Objectives are displayed on the top right of your screen, if you were to choose Stealth your first objective might be "Infiltrate the facility without detection" If that objective where to fail and you were detected your objective might update to say "Disable the alarms". This is purely a example.

• Guns, Grenades, Vehicles - Its modern times..

• In depth experience - Not only is the idea and action epic, but we are building with epic detail and grand looks in mind as well. Every room / area in the facility has had hours of care and detail built into it. This map also features ComputerCraft adding a new dynamic of hacking and computer run systems.

• Has something for everyone - This map has everything, it has Strategy, Action, Adventure, Complex Redstone Circuts, Computers, Epic Looks. You will need to work together and play to each others strengths, and become a unstoppable unified force

The Worker: This job kinda of like a grunt. That being said they don't get wiped nor beaten. This job is for people that want to help build the map but are not qualified for other roles. This job would do tasks for the builder / engineers like building rooms and placing blocks how builders and engineers design them to help speed up the building process. In short they are extra hands people that can be called on to do tasks that may be considered tedious while the more skilled people can design other areas of the map.
Skills Needed:

• Basic Building Skills
• Can work well with others
• Can visualize the end result
• The ability to dedicate a decent amount of time to building
• Attention to detail

SKILLED PEOPLE ONLY


The Siege is a Multiplayer Game Mode that takes the creativity of Strategy, the fun of RP, and adds the epicness of a massive Attack / Defend game. In this mode there are 2 teams, The Attackers and Defenders. In the first installment "Area 51" the defenders consist of: Guards, Scientists, Engineers. The Attackers are purely attackers who's ultimate goal is to take Area 51. However its not that simple as everyone only has 1 life, making rushing in ass first out of the question. In this map the attackers will need to use strategy to plan their attack, as guards are not the only obstacle in their way. As one would assume area 51 is equipped with many security measures.

Map Features:

• Runs on Tekkit Mod Pack - Due to the complexity of the map we have employed the extra features added by the Tekkit pack. We choose the tekkit pack due to its contents and ease of use.
• Multiplayer Only - it simply wouldn't be the same alone
• Rated for 50+ players - in order to obtain to epicness and balance intended 50-125 players is the ideal amount with a 2:1 ratio of attackers to defenders.
• Completly Dynamic - No restrictions are placed on the attackers (i.e: They can break anything they want, cut any wires they wish, assuming they have the tools needed) However, your previous decisions affect your choices moving forward (i.e: If they cut all power to the compound and facility they may be locked out of crucial areas)
• In depth experience - Not only is the idea and action epic, but we are building with epic detail and grand looks in mind as well. (i.e: Computer Workstations are found in each of the labs in the sub facility, one whose good with computer craft could hack into the workstations to read the persons email in witch he might find random or useful info.
• Has something for everyone - This map has everything, it has Strategy, Action, Adventure, Complex Redstone Circuts, Computers, Epic Looks. You will need to work together and play to each others strengths, as you don't want to send just any attacker to disarm the alarms.

Redstone Engineer: The Redstone Engineers are responsible for providing the circuits and wiring needed to make this map functional. The Engineers work closely with the Architects to ensure they have the room and requirements needed to wire. In order to apply for this job you will need to be able to prove a exceptional knowledge of redstone via pictures or videos. The Architect: The Architect provides the same role as the builder when it comes to the construction of things. The Architects however are responsible for working with the engineers and project leaders to create the framework needed to realize the vision. The Architect could be called a Lead Builder, however the builders them selves are not grunts, but skilled people like the Architect, however the architect also provides a leadership role and is usually considered more skilled at Mega Builds. The Architect also must be good a terraforming. In order to apply for the Architect job, not only will you need to be able to demonstrate and show great building skills in the form of pictures or videos, but also have great leadership skills and the ability to take a vision and build it! The Interior Designer: The Interior Designer may poses many of the great building skills the builder has, however the Interior Designer specializes in the fine details that the builder may not be able to do. Were as a builder can usually build some epic mega structures they normally lack the ability to fill the interior. The Interior Designers job is to take care of those fine details and turn empty or lacking rooms into a quality environment to match the epic exterior. also i see so often that people are asking for credentials to join them yet they don't provide any themselves, i feel if your asking for people to submit a application you should at least tell them your credentials / YouTube channel as well.

Warning: This Map Is Not Recommended For People With No Redstone Knowledge
This Map Has No Story, and only 1 puzzle. A mega bomb! Once you open the door you enter the bomb and the timer starts you must defuse it before it blows. The Bomb is filled with tons of random wiring that will increase your chances of setting the bomb off early!

How To Defuse:

1. Figure out how the bomb is wired!
2. Delete Torches / Redstone Dust were you feel necessary
3. Hope That it does not go boom!

Rules:

• Play on peaceful
• Do not use any fly / mods
• You can only break redstone and torches

If you defuse the bomb your score is the amount of wires + Torches you broke LESS = BETTER
