KeradoCraft is a small survival server I own and manage.
I figured I might as well put it up on the forum.

Anyways, KeradoCraft is a survival server primarily. I try not to make it too much like another copy-paste factions server. Granted, on the server, you'll be surviving much like other servers...
HOWEVER:
KeradoCraft has a focus on building nations and towns. Instead of just making a faction with an underground base, rarely interacting with other players, on KeradoCraft, you'll be actively building empires, joining other players, constructing the server lore as you go. I actually promote things like war, betrayal, and revolution on the server (although it would be good to have some positive stuff in there too ).
Overall, KeradoCraft is a small server community, looking for new players. If you can be a dedicated player on the server, PLEASE JOIN! _

... is a survival server I've been running privately for a while now. The server features a mainly survival/PvE environment, with the focus of forming a server lore by founding towns and cities.
I explain most of the stuff on the server itself. The only thing I'm putting here for now is the rules, which you should read before entering the server. The rules are on display at spawn in the server, however, so you don't have to read them here specifically.
RULES: {1} No griefing in creative, period. This includes breaking or placing blocks on other people’s creations. I can tell the user who broke or placed the block with plugins. PUNISHMENT: Temp-ban.
{2} No breaking or placing blocks in dungeons. In the survival world, you may encounter structures filled with mobs. There is to be NO placing torches or blocks, and no breaking of blocks or spawners. I can tell the user who broke or placed a certain block with plugins. PUNISHMENT: Temp-ban or item-confiscation.
{3} No swearing, racism, homophobia, offensive or rude language. Self-explanatory. PUNISHMENT: Kick for first three occurrences, if persists, then temp-ban.
{4} Griefing and stealing are legal, but only if at least one member of the faction you’re stealing from is online. I have many plugins, again, that allow me to tell when and who broke or stole a block or item. PUNISHMENT: Temp-ban, if persists then BAN.
{5} No PVP-Logging, or logging out in combat with another player. This includes TP-ing away while in PVP. Logging out or TP-ing while fighting mobs is legal. Punishment: Temp-ban.
{6} No bringing items between worlds. This is hard to enforce until I get a per-world inventory plugin, but until then I can still see your inventory, chests, and command history to discover your potential crimes. PUNISHMENT: Temp-ban or BAN. Seriously, this is a big offense.
{7} You must pick a class on the server. You choose a combat class and a job class. Combat class is firm, and you have little selection. Choices are on display at spawn. Your job class is loosely held, and I’m not going to enforce it, but I suggest you pick a job or profession on the server, like lumberjack, explorer, miner, etc. The PUNISHMENT for breaking your combat class’s requirements is item-confiscation or temp-ban.
{8} Not really a rule, but I suggest you try and join existing groups and towns before making your own. Please, at least consider playing in a group. Thank You.
{9} In general, please use common sense. I know this sounds really corrupt, but I might consider banning for generally being a terrible person on the server. Please try to remain positive and cooperative on the server and everything will be fine.
Ok, in case you didn't read the mass of text above this line, then again, you can read the rules on the server. You WILL NOT be excused from punishment because you don't know the rule you broke.

Some of you have probably been wondering where the server has been recently. I've been busy with school, miscellaneous projects, and some of my other hobbies, and I lost track of keeping the server up. At long last I've revived the server, with a few basic plugins. Currently the server is missing all the role-playing, town-building elements of its former iterations, and plays as a normal survival server. I'd like to hear people's feedback and suggestions so I can make the server as good as it can be. If you want a custom world, please say so. If you want so-and-so plugins, then please say so. I look forward to hearing people's suggestions!

i don't pay for 24/7 server hosting, so while i always leave my server running clearly on my desktop, it can't always be accessed. If there was a free way to host a server 24/7, i would gladly do it, but i'd rather not pay a zillion dollars a month to some random company just to keep it open a few more hours. If anyone has cheap or free suggestions on how, then plz tell me
Due to all the players I see in my console log who haven't been whitelisted but were still interested, I've decided to take the whitelist down, so the server can be truly public. If you've already registered, please try to come on, because I haven't seen anybody try to join yet, so I don't know if there's problems with connection.

and are there roads connecting the towns?I am sorry if im bombarding you with qwestions but i cant get on the server atm so i cant know
ok. to answer all the questions:
1. the server should be on most of the time, if you have trouble connecting, let me know. the server also follows a medieval theme for building.
2. if you built more than one town, or had a town in a nation, you could rebel and attack the other towns in said nation, as you described. this would likely have other consequences, such as the nation's allies attacking you and leaving you up against a much larger force than expected.
3. lore can be found all throughout the land, often described in chat, or written down in books. libraries are planned to be constructed, where written books are stored.
4. there are currently no roads, save one, connecting nations. roads will be constructed by players, not automatically put there. currently, we haven't really built any, but we probably should. there is one road, down south, near the desert, connecting two towns, but i dont think it ever got finished
I saw you in the console log, and I'm sorry I was AFK so I couldn't help you out. The whitelist was bugged a bit, and I saw you come into contact with a variety of bugs. Please leave a note here so I can whitelist you and add you to the server, we'd be very glad to have you
