If I paid over $100 to go to a convention and to get an exclusive in-game item, and later find out that that item was given to everyone, I would be mad. Also, I know that at least a few people paid just to get the cape, and didn't even go to Minecon. I didn't go to Minecon, but I think that it is perfectly fair, as it shows your dedication to the game. I personally don't want to have a cape because there is no option to take it off (if there is then sorry, but I wouldn't know).
But Jeb has stated that he will not add explosive potions, beacuse it would be like adding grenades in to the game, so don't get you're hopes up on him makking some kind of potion like this.
And I've seen loads of mods that have explosion potions and etc.
It doesn't have to destroy blocks or damage mobs, just produce a visual effect.
I like the idea of breeding, but I don't like that it isn't optional if you want to get meat, leather, and wool. Well, technically it is optional, but I don't feel like having to go farther and farther everyday just to find new animals to hunt, so breeding is the most efficient way of spawning animals. I'm not an adventurer, I stay in one place when I play the game, so to me breeding is the only way to spawn animals. My ideal vision for animal spawning is that breeding stays in the game, but animals are able to rarely spawn naturally on sunlit (not torchlit) chunks, but not to a point where breeding is useless.
I don't really see why people say they should be rare, last time I used an apple they only bring your hunger up like 1, but it may have changed I guess
That's also what I was hoping when we got pistons. I wish to see more mechanisms added to the game, but I'm not against potions or enchantments. I just think that the fantasy should be balanced out a little bit with technology.
The terrain is so boring in my opinion that I have stopped playing Minecraft. I feel like the terrain isn't even randomly generated anymore, since the swamps all look the same and the deserts look the same and etc. When I play Minecraft I usually always stay in the same area. With the new update I have to search a lot to find a good place to build, and when I do settle down I still have to adventure out because of the way the terrain is. Also, the never-ending cave systems have turned me away because they make me adventure even more, and they make cave systems not feel unique any more. I guess that sums up my feelings in one word: the terrain is no longer unique.
Can you look at the terrain? No beaches?I find beaches by the water, where are you looking?Lack of trees? They made a hole biome full of trees!I find many tundras and most of the seeds i try have a snow biome next to them.
By beaches, he means the big ones that you used to spawn near before 1.8, not those circular splotches that come out of the water, and by the lack of trees I think he means when you get stuck in a plains, mountain, or desert biome.
I have yet to find one, and I've been flying around the nether for an hour. I also can't find one on my friend's server. Also these worlds are 1.0.0 worlds.

We aren't talking about zombie pigmen, just normal pigmen. Some happy-looking walking pigs would seem out of place in the nether in my opinion.

"Also fixed the double doors bug, but that update will have to wait for Minecraft 1.1... with no ETA"

Actually, I always use wild pumpkins to get seeds, as I turn structures off so abandoned mines aren't there.
