Do you have to have 1.6 to play? I am running 1.5.2 on the old launcher because of mods. Is there any major gameplay mechanics effected or a necessary resource pack???

I believe the old version worked in 1.4.7, and then we fixed it to work in 1.6.2.

I cannot think of any reason why the current version would not work in 1.5, but I do not know for sure as I haven't tested it myself. You should probably just try it and see if it works.

I just started a play through and I think may have found a bug or i may have cheated, anyway i'm not sure what happened but I got to the end and i'd appreciate it if someone could tell me what me happened.

When we made this, you couldn't place any blocks in adventure mode. I suppose I should just be appreciative that you pointed that out, but based on your reaction in the video, I highly doubt you need me to tell you what happened.

    Don't place blocks.

With the kind help of LStrike55, I finally found the bug in the wires that was making the cabin fail. If you give Pete a million dollars, depending on the order you visited him or started the date, the wires were not properly sanitized, and it disabled both cabin endings. If you otherwise had the cabin fail to work, it was a random minecraft bug that will likely fix itself if you redownload.

The fix is in, updated to version 7. As always, if you find a problem, please let us know. Thank you.

We have not yet recreated this problem, and until we do, we can't fix it. I'll play with it some more tonight.

    Any Advice?

I'm sorry to say that we have basically no experience with servers, or even the capacity to test a server with this to recreate the problem. I hope you have luck with it, or at least play it single player.

I'm playing this on 1.5.2, and whenever (even if I go to the diner before Gwen) I meet up with Gwen at the diner we never do any catching up and she just tells me that we should catch up at the festival, is this a bug or something I'm doing wrong?

Edit edit: Fixed a bunch of things. Gwen works, the bank has stopped exploding, an elevator is temporarily out of order, and a few other very minor changes.

Continue to report if you think you've found something wrong. Thanks everyone.

Well this is a coincidence. You would not happen to live in Tuscarora, Calgary, Alberta, Canada, would you?

    As I do. :/

Nah, for plot reasons, we wanted an Iroquois name for the town, and Tuscarora was one that sounded nice.

:Pig: Is there a certaint version i have to be in ? :Pig:

Shouldn't be. I believe this still works in any version since command blocks were released. If for some reason you'd like the version from before that, I could get you that as well.

    Even better!

P.S. Ten days sounds good. Any shorter, and it might progress too quickly.

Sounds like you just named the map.

This map is glitched for me. I can't get Gwen to talk at all at any of the places where she is.

That's because it's broken and we haven't fixed it yet! Check the top of the thread for details.

Sounds like a cool idea and totally possible with daylight sensors to detect a new day. :)

And then every time it hits 0 sensor output, we make it say "What a terrible night to have a curse"

    Doesn't work in Minecraft 1.5 :_(

Thanks for the heads up. We'll check it out and fix it ASAP.

Edit: Found the problem pretty easily- my redstone spawners are all sand spawners now, but I tested it out and I can work with that. Next time I have 4 hours or so to go through and fix them all, I'll upload the fixed version. Until then, we get to play the "use the old version" game again.

This map and Deja Vu are my two favorite minecraft maps ever (with Dreams of Icarus right behind them). They are so creative and thought provoking that it sometimes becomes more than a game for me. Where do you come up with the ideas, and where can I get more of it (books, movies, anything?).

I believe you give us too much credit. Tuscarora is just a giant homage to the movie Groundhog Day built because we like the movie and can build it. Deja Vu is just the most direct interpretation of moving your spawn when you die, done because we could build it. Basically everything is thought provoking to an extent; the only reason you notice it here is because the thoughts being provoked aren't the exact same thoughts provoked by most other maps. The only difference is that we're different, so if you really want thought provoking content, you should really just go tackle a genre you're unfamiliar with.
