The "Resize World" option won't be added till later. 360/ps3 size worlds will still be 360/ps3 size on next-gen consoles... at launch.
And yes, MS-to MS and Sony-to-Sony transfers only. One of the drawbacks of switching systems. Oh, in case anyone is wondering, transfers are one-way only (no ps4 back to ps3 transfers).
I'd just start a new (full size) world and forget it.
I'm just going to jump right to "forget it."
I've put too much time into my other world. I couldn't start from scratch again. Oh well.
I read that they are allowing world transfers from console to console, they mentioned they may also be adding a 'size upgrade' option that allows you to expand on your world for the new console upgrades.
Right. PS3 to PS4 and X360 to XBO... but not the option I need: X360 to PS4.
So... if Diablo 3 can go from the Xbox 360 to the PS4, can we get an option like that for Minecraft? I would love to upload my Xbox 360 save to... somewhere... and redownload it to my shiny, new PS4. And I'm sure I'm not the only switcher that would love to see this happen.
I'd even pay a transfer fee ($5ish) in addition to the price of the game. Because as it stands now... I don't plan on playing Minecraft ever again since I never turn my Xbox 360 on anymore.
I created my own village in a pre-TU7 world and FINALLY got the spawn eggs I've been waiting for. So I used a bunch and this is what it got me.
I've read that they can open doors and run from zombies/rain/night/etc... but I've seen none of this. I opened the doors for them and they all wandered into the ocean. Am I missing something?

If we can't reset the Nether, is there a way to make Blazes spawn using Creative mode? I know I'm going to have to convert my map to Creative eventually so I can get cats and villagers, so maybe that'll fix the Nether for me, but I'd still prefer to have a Fortress to explore without making it myself (like I did with my current village).

Ah. That explains where my only caged Mooshroom went.
Also, the "no longer stand on ladder" thing is REALLY messing up my world.
