Skills: skilled with herbs and medican (Potions), He knows how to use a sword and use rifles.
Personality: Richter is quiet and somewhat reserved... That is until you get some booze in him
Looks: Caucasian copper hair a handlebar mustache. He wares a brown vest with a white under shirt and a silver, silk-puff tie. A few scars from warfare.
Backstory:
Richter was born in small boring town in the wasteland. Nothing too exiting ever happened there in all honesty. At a young age Richter was always interested in plants and herbs. He always liked experimenting with such herbs making home remedies and what not. However one fateful day when he was six years old, the raid happened. A vast army of Legion soldiers came and saced the town. Killing anyone in sight the Legion were ruthless, blood thirsty. Until they came upon a boy. It was Richter. With branch in his hands he held it as a weapon to fight the Legion. The leader of the raiding party smirked. They took the boy and raised him under Legion rule. Training him to be a warrior. However Richter wasn't interested is such violence.
However he was forced to to fight to live, so he became somewhat adept with a sword.
One night in the camp Richter heard gunshots. He woke up and grasped his sword. It was the NCR! Richter got up ready to take on the treat when he realized. Perhaps this is the moment when he could escape the clutches of the Legion. So he grabbed what little he had and quietly left while the fight with the NCR was happening. Richter traveled all night, not looking back. Come midafternoon Richter came across an NCR base of operations. he made sure his clothing wasn't that of the Legion warrior and entered
It wasn't long Until the NCR realized Richter's skills with medician and offered him a part as a field medic. After some hesitation Richter accepts. Not soon after he was issued a bodyguard due to his value as a medic( they didn't have so many at that particular camp). His name was Konrad. At first these two didn't see quite eye to eye but over time they built quite the friendship. One night Richter got a little too drunk after a successful raid of a legion camp. Richter didn't quite keep his mouth shut and spoke ill of the captain of the camp. The NCR didn't take this lightly and dishonorably discharged Richter from the army. Konrad however stayed with Richter out of respect and friendship. Now Richter and Konrad wander the wasteland looking for a home.

The wasteland sun beat down hot on Richter's back, His rifle slung across his back. Off in the distance he spots a small shack.He readies his rifle. He slowly approaches. No sound. he slowly opens the door. Nobody besides a body.
<Hrmm, nobody around... Lets see if there's anything worth wile>
notices a small green orate chest in a corner,
R: "Whats that?"
He lifts the lid to find a small vile of purple glowing liquid and a couple of empty ones.
R: "Is this mutagen? I have only heard stories"
Richter looks around and stores it in a shirt in his backpack. He exits the shack and continues his trek. Not more the three hours later he sees an seemingly ancient laboratory.

Richter begins his exploration of the facility.
<lots of dust around. Must have been abandon for some time now>
He checks some files looks in some crates. Mostly nothing besides job records and beakers. Richter, about ready to leave noticed a sickly glow from a room. He opened up the door to find a room full of Mutengens of all color. He the found a small recorder. He pressed the play button
Recording: "Welcome to mutagens 101! I am here to guide you through the basics on how to create mutagen for Claspcorp. First lets start with color, the color of the mutagen is quite important it will indicate the type of mutation it would have on a subject. For example in our studies a dark yellow mutagen makes the user grow an eye in thier forehead. Now that particular one is rather benign but be careful because some can be deadly. Just be sure to record all colors and their effects before getting rid of or ingesting the mutagen."
the recording stopped. Richter went through the files to see if this color has been accounted for. He found one thing a note pad.
notepad:"Haven't yet fully tested the purple mutagen we are to believe that it is not deadly. More test will prove wither its true".
After some thought Richter pulls out the mutagen.
Richer: "Well What do I have to lose?"
He drinks it.
Why you would be a good staff: Because I am rather easy going and have a good sense of humor, however if you cross me or challenge my authority I will not be so easy. I don't readily just give stuff out and I enjoy maintaining and running things such as that.
How long you have been playing minecraft: I have been playing since the early days of indev(2010ish)
What can you bring to the server: I am a experienced builder that can spice up just about any building :).
Compared to typing in CD key to activate a disk or just no DRM at all it very much intrusive. Offline mode requires you to be online first for that session then close it.
I don't think you know what the word intrusive means... Its not intrusive at all. Sure you have to be online to play a game but it dose nothing else to hinder your experience. Unless you pirate games witch is cool I'm not going to demonize one for doing so, but if you complain about having to pay for games that's just sad... If you want intrusive drm then you go to the ones that install malware on your HD and key loggers. Yes those do exist. Assasins creed 2 originaly had something like that until ubisoft removed it cause it pissed so many people off.
as for the valve guy... I agree most valve games are kinda meh. I don't even like portal/portal 2. I mean half life is ok I guess but other then that not a huge fan...
Also keep this in mind. The game is kinda badly written there is little in the way of optimization and jeb kinda has to fix notches shitty code. Why do you think there are all these bug fixes along with the updates?

The king thought about it and then offered that he would send a large sum of money each year to cater to his mother. Richer agreed. After a few years of working he gained much experience and good friends. However one fateful night, Richter got drunk. He insulted the knight captain due to drunken rumors. As one would expect this didn't go well. Richter was not soon after "fired" for lack of a better word and sent on his way. The however knight capitan had more of a personal vendetta. Because those rumors where true Unbeknownst to Richter. On his way out the knight captain said under his breath that he would pay for it, thinking that he would spread those rumors. Richter then was on his way home when he heard the galloping of hooves. He jumped out of the way thinking that it was the knight captain after him. It was, but he didn't stop. Must have been something urgent. On Richter's arrival he opened the door. He heard nothing. He said "Hello? Mother?" It was then that he realized what the knight captain was doing. he went to his mother's room and fell on his knees to crying. She had been slewn in the night. He then noticed that knight captain left a note. However Richter was so furious he couldn't read it all the way through. All he got out of it was. "Best to keep one's mouth shut..." Richter gave his mother a proper burial outside his house in Glasgow. He felt that this house held too many memories, and would best be to move on to not feel hatred to his mother's killer. That is what his mother would want. So he moved to England in hopes of setting up a apothecary. But who knows what the future holds for Richter.

I just finished the adventure. not map... That wouldn't do it justice. This thing i downloaded and enjoyed was more the just some map. It was an adventure.
My thoughts:
I thought it was rather refreshing to see a good ol adventure map up. I have lately been seeing nothing but parkour challenges.(not my thing) and once i saw that i was lovecraftian i Just about squeeled. Lovecraft is in fact my favorite horror author.
So I started up and was instantly hit with some rather impressive architecture, Some of the best I have seen in adventure maps, only to see it get progressively more impressive. The ceckpoint system was so useful and awesome i wished more maps used this, I know most good ones do but lately i haven't seen them.
I have but one complaint, and truthfully it isnt your fault. The zombies knocking down the door was so loud at some points that it was rather unbearable. So I figure maybe to get around that you could use some more iron doors in place of wood where there are zombies. I know you probably started making this well before 1.2 so just as a future note.
So in closing I found that it was a wonderfully done map. So well done I made want to put my building skills to the limit and begin my own adventure map.
I hope to see a follow up and or more adventure maps out of you guys.

Ehhh I am honestly not much of a fan, only because that creepers are frustrating enough as it is, but at least you have some control over that situation in most cases. But having a random event that just messes up all your stuff sounds like it would just be frustrating and just generally a bad idea.
Most of you clearly have no idea what you are talking about...
the only reason why its not coming to playstaion or any other platform besides xbox is simply because it would almost basically require re writing the entire game.
and you see the thing is programming for the ps3 is actually relay difficult compared to the 360. considering that the 360 i think uses a form a C (for those who dont know C is a very simplistic yet powerful programming language). Why do you think there very few good games at the start of the ps3's life.
and its not because sony hates indie games or devs. The one and only reason is because its just not a platform that is easy to develop for.
