You will be fine on medium settings, don't expect to run it on high settings with an integrated graphics card.

Yeah, I am getting 2 x 2GB, I guess I forgot to add that. Also I will change the power supply to the XFX Core Edition 650W.

You should buy 2 of those 4GB sticks (they are not cards, you call them sticks, modules or DIMMs). You should not try to buy 6GB of RAM to install into an AMD system. It would mean buying 2 x 2GB and 2 x 1GB modules. That would be a bit silly.

Always pair up RAM in an AMD system. It enables RAM to be used in dual-channel mode (makes things faster).

Also, are you certain you require that fancy CPU cooler? AMD's supplied cooler is perfectly adequate.

If you remove the sound card, Zalman cooler and DVD burner, you would probably be able to afford a GTX 560 or 570 instead of the 550.(???)

So your saying I should buy 2 of the 4GB sticks, and remove the CPU cooler... I got a bit confused on the last sentence. I was planning on buying 2 of the 4GB sticks if that's what you meant.

EDIT: if I remove the sound card will the motherboard have on-board sound, if that's how you say it. Also if that's what you meant.. I thought on-board sound wasn't that good.

The only thing i can think of is upgrading your ram to atleast 6

Would getting 2 RAM cards be possible or would it just be easier to get one 6GB RAM card?

posted a message on My first computer build
I decided to finally build a computer, I will be ordering these parts for my computer. But first I thought I should ask some other people if they are good or not, since I am very new to building computers.

    Computer specs:

Computer case: Thermaltake V3 Black Edition Mid Tower Case (Link Removed)

Sound Card: Asus Xonar DX PCIe 7.1 Sound Card (Link Removed) (using on-board sound now)

DVD Burner: Asus DRW-24B1ST 24X Internal DVD Burner (Link Removed)

Power Supply: XFX P1650SNLB9 Core Edition 650W (Link Removed)

Processor/CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition AM3 CPU HDZ955FBGMBOX (Link Removed)

Video card: EVGA 01G-P3-1561-AR GeForce GTX 560 Ti (Link Removed)

RAM stick: Corsair Value Select PC10600 RAM - 2GB, DDR3(Getting 2 RAM sticks, by the way) (Link Removed)

Hard drive: Samsung HD103SJ Spinpoint F3 (Link Removed)

OS(Operating System): Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64BIT (Link Removed)

Motherboard: Biostar A880G+ AMD AM3 (Link Removed)

CPU Cooler: Zalman CNPS9900MAX-R (Link Removed)

I am on a very tight budget so most of these parts might not be really good.

**UPDATED POST: fixed some grammar errors and took some other peoples advice**
