posted a message on Metaworlds mod V0.995 - Fly working worlds around Installer+Server
I finally got around to installing metaworlds...and, I've hit a small problem.
When I install it over forge, the launcher "plays" Minecraft, but the actual game never appears, the launcher just closes down.
    Help meh, pleez!

posted a message on Aesthetic Blocks: Putting USE to some things...
Excessive sugarcane? Too many pumpkins? An overload of dirt?
Let us put it to good use, Mojang!
A set of decorative blocks that use supplies that we aren't already desperate for would be nice, or perhaps aesthetics that actually add something cool, as compared to what always gets added.
(Hint: Why did we need carpet again? We can already make wool floors...)
    Some suggestions...

    Paper walls/doors (Same block?):
A new kind of block made of a square of paper with a stick in the middle. Good for oriental decoration, a blank screen and other uses...(see my other topic about Sketches...)

    Wallpaper and tapestries:
    Like wall carpet!
Made of wool (tapestries) or dried pumpkin (wallpaper), it can be dyed and would also make a much better decorative addition than carpet.

    "Leather" Tent/Canvas Wall:
A wall made of rotten flesh, which turns to "leather" after being cooked. t should probably have a stick in the middle, like the paper, and could also be made out of leather. (As the flesh version should have negative effects...e.g. attracting zombies...)

    And lastly, the impossible...utilising dirt...

    Dirt...walls? Dirt Tiles? Hmm....

AHA! A cheap brown cobblestone and bricks for it too!
Made of dirt heated in a furnace, these dirt blocks have the strength of wood, but can't be set on fire! Also, they make a distinct crumbling sound when broken, so, if someone's diggin' under your castle, and you used cheap brown bricks as a wall filler, you can be alerted of their presence by the sound of poor architecture! Perfect!
Brown cobble and brown bricks could be a great material for starter players as well and could be used to make cool new structures in forests! Even certain villages could be made of cheap substitute cobble (and pine wood).

It could also be a lesson to newer players who build a house of brown brick and a creeper passes by...

So, now that you've heard my ideas, PLEASE support it if you liked it, because carpets and coal blocks just aren't good enough.

posted a message on Sketches: With multiple uses...
    So, I'll pitch my idea:
We have paintings, signs and item frames to hang as decoration. However, what if there was the ability to draw your own sketch?
Take an item frame, put paper in it, use a feather on that, with possibly squid ink, and draw your own 16x16 (or 32x32, or higher...) sketch, which is saved in a similar way to books or maps.
Or, scratching that complicated method...make a new item for it...e.g, poster?
There are aesthetic and practical uses for this in game. The aesthetic ones should be obvious enough, what with having your own paintings and pictures and such, but I can also explain at least one practical use.
Say you are on a server, with some friends, and you want to work together to build a structure. Have that structure drawn onto these posters so you can accurately share your idea of how it should be built. OR draw a custom map, with details that regular maps are going to miss, e.g. labelling tunnels on your crude castle diagram.
I personally see no issues with this idea being implemented, but I know people are going to find some. So, go ahead.

If you actually DO like this, though, please support!

posted a message on [Oct 8] Coros Mods: ZombieAwareness for 1.10.2 with new improvements
Your mods are brilliant, but can be troublesome...
I was building a spaceship in creative mode, in a completely empty map. Suddenly, midway through my construction, a tornado appeared and slowly drifted into the void. I found it rather amusing that my ship was tornado-proof, so I launch a tornado on purpose.
IT TORE A GAPING RIFT INTO THE GODDAMN SHIP.
    Grr...
    Still a brilliant mod, though.

posted a message on Random Mob Name Generator for 1.5
    This is my idea:
A mod that gives mobs a random custom-name from a colossal list of names, using the feature recently added in 1.5.
Also, a way to name mobs in SURVIVAL mode, WHILE THAT MOB IS PRESNT (as compared to naming it as an egg).
However, due to the fact that I can't even install the programs required to mod, I want someone else to take this up as a challenge.
I don't want or need credit for the idea, I just want random mobs names generating, so I can do something like kill "Horace" the Zombie, or trade with "Mitch", a testificate two houses down.

So, is it a good idea?

posted a message on [1.4.7/1-5-1]Moon mod now updated by jlndk][WIP][Help Wanted!][Open Sourge]
    A couple more things:
Um, I noticed this version is missing a lot of the stuff the old one had. I liked the gravity and oxygen factors, that gave it a feel of "Moon", and I'm guessing that you're already on those. However, the textures for the moon rock aren't as good as the old one, and there is a slight generation problem: There are heaps of waterholes everywhere.

Other than that, I still like your mod revival. Merry Christmas, and thanks for replying before. I'll keep following this...

    posted a message on [1.6.4] Ferullo's Guns Mod [2.9.2] [MP/SP]
I don't mean to be selfish, but there are more important things than "easy-reloading" and such that need to be focussed on:
    • Get some bullets. The raygun is no fun without a giant beam of green zappy death.
    • Make it so guns scope like a bow. All the new gun mods ignore this and it makes the guns feel silly if you don't. And no, complainers, the bow effect is what makes the projectile weapon feel real, even if you have to slow down while moving.
    • Making it easy to just chuck in the mods folder would be good too.
Other than that, the mod is awesome, I like the basic idea. Just not the way it's set up. It feels like flicking air at mobs.
