    Yuikami: I definitely agree with you. I recommend that you remove the quote at the top of the thread though; I think everyone wants to forget this. All the quote is currently doing is attracting either fans of Candycraft to scream at your thread, or fans of your texture pack screaming at Candycraft's thread. Both are unacceptable behavior.

    To make myself clear, I wasn't "hating" on anybody. I was simply saying that you clearly used the same color pallet. I would very much prefer for you to try to create at least a slightly new look instead of imitating High on Sugar. Perhaps make the cake's frosting droop down more, have a prettier design, possibly be a light brown color instead.

    Well, according to AetherDev's Twitter, They have a new website. HOWEVER, this new website doesn't contain the newest versions of the mod.

    Also, I suppose there is a fatal glitch in the forum preventing them from linking to the website with this thread?

    This is totally fair, in my opinion. However, I LOVE your texture pack and I enjoyed being able to see it in this dimension. It's a shame. I hope the new textures will be as great as yours.

    I posted that last bit after I noticed that you guys were talking about the assets part. I was more shifted to the problem of "The launcher's DL doesn't work". I didn't actually care about the discussion of the launcher itself, as it worked fine and dandy for me, so I didn't notice the reason was known.

    No but seriously. Mojang changed the way assets are stored, breaking the launcher's sounds. But even before that the launcher had difficulty with assets and would stall or just break completely for unknown reasons, and in some cases wouldn't even start.

    I am aware of this. I also have no problem with people repeating themselves, and I think you could possibly say this to each person who asks, even through a copy-paste manner. I also meant to edit out the last part. I also am very truly sorry, and I hope that you can somehow forgive me for this horrid crime.

    Everyone: Stop telling people the launcher "doesn't work". Instead, tell them WHY the download isn't working, or WHY it doesn't download the right files. Figure out the source of the issue.

    I have no idea why, but I have a silly suggestion.
    A very rare chance (maybe 1 in 30), upon harvesting gluttroots, A Glutton pops out of the ground. It would be a nice spook, haha.

    I was thinking of a passive creature. A snakelike monster of deep oranges and reds. He was completely harmless, however fast and would try to slither away, forcing you to run into more deadly foes. He dropped his hide if you managed to kill him, which could be made into an armor equivalent to leather armor but lasted a bit longer. His name: the Slitheryn.

    Or something that was passive as well as an equivalent to leather armor.
