I haven't progressed too much lately due to school. I can't really give you any details as to when an update will be arriving since I can't really get much done at the moment.

It's not a good mod because he keeps saying he'll update it and he DOESNT. The one version has runner armor, which is too bulgy, and explosive guns that aren't in movie or book. STOP working on the next book/movie when you haven't even finished the first part.
The main basis is on the books, I just adapt textures/models to look like the movies. The launchers (explosive guns) are from the books. The way they are now isn't how I intended them to be. Eventually they will make mobs disappear without affecting the terrain (won't blow up blocks).
I don't know when my models will be added. It's likely that only a few of them will be added though, since the F/A mod has a lot of priorities for their updates.
Is the maze generated in the world (judging by how big it is that might cause problems) or are you going to make a portal (maybe having to build something elevator like underground) that will teleport you inside the maze (which would therefore be its own dimension), there could still be stuff outside the maze though it's just where you have to start.
also what are the items supposed to be, machete knife and spear? Can they be crafted with regular sticks or are they found?
Great models btw and best of luck in the future
The maze might have to be a separate dimension, but its a big task, which I'm going to work on in the future, but not this update that I'm working on.
Just note that I'm still pretty new to modding and I've been pretty busy with IRL things recently. I'm focusing more on new textures, animations and mob behaviours in the next update (might be a while off though, sorry about that), the Berg will continue to be worked on but I don't think it'll be ready for an update any time soon. If anyone is interested in helping out with coding, textures or mob design please let me know.

Still hoping for the day Giganotosaurus arrives

thats the goal

I do plan on overhauling the mod (including model designs) once I'm free to actually work on the mod.

You should try one of these:
1. Redownload the mod
2. Reinstall forge mod loader - check the OP for the correct version
3. Make sure you have LLib installed - again check for correct version
4 Not sure this one will do anything - delete the fossil.cfg file in the config folder in .minecraft
5. You might need to check if any other mods you installed are compatible with fossils

The animations look a lot smoother. Nice

yeah if the link still works. Let me know if it doesn't

Oh I remember modelling that. Good times. (The frozen part anyway)

A mixture of both. Textures will be mainly based off the films and some of the items/mobs/structures will be based off the books.

Yes.
