posted a message on Draconic Evolution[2.0.1.126]

I just wanted to say how much I enjoy this mod. From the amazing weapons and tools (best in the game, by far, IMO), to the awesome spawners, to the totally tubular RF storage balls, the truly end-game/elite armor, the sun dial, the porter!, etc. etc. Just an extremely well-done mod, that I'm missing a lot in the current modpack I'm playing (ModSauce 2).

Thank you so much for all the work you've put into, and continue to put into this mod! In my humble opinion, it's truly a star in the world of modded minecraft.

I believe so. They made oceans significantly smaller. They can still be found though, as my friend shared a seed with me. Here it is in case you're interested:-6781962802967358842

I turned amplified on for that one, though I'm not sure if that's required or not.

From the same seed: A pretty epic sky Jungle.

Just fix the lighting! No more black boxes in my world would be lovely.

There's some sort of minecart collision bug. Have a look at these 3 screenshots. The first shows me right after I place a cart on the track. The second is after I right-click on the cart, and you'll see how high I am, and I never settle to a point where I can actually right-click that button. Also, when I swing my sword at that height, I actually hit and remove the minecart from the track. The third is what it's supposed to look like. The only way I could get to the proper height for the third was to run-push the cart and hop in, then ride it to the other end, then ride it back, and that had me at the right height.

    Why?
It's fine as it is now.
If you're not able to get enough bonemeal than you're doing something wrong...

It was fine before, but then it was tinkered with for a problem that didn't exist. I still have more than enough bonemeal, but now I have to randomly right-click the same square between 2-3 times now (instead of just once before), but why? In what way has this enhanced or bettered the game?

I would love to hear a strong argument for why the game is better now because of this change, and how the game was suffering before without it.

I dismissed the guy that talked about mobs stuttering, but I've noticed it now too. This is on a Core2Quad (Q9550) at 3.6 GHZ, 6 GB Ram, running on an SSD, with a GTX 460 SSC+ 1GB. It's not a system issue, it's just something funky with the monsters. I noticed it with a zombie that was trying to pursue me, he'd move a couple steps, pause, and kept pausing, etc.

Remember Tetris? That was about as basic a game as you can get, but it was fun, and it certainly was bug-free. A complicated mess is much less enjoyable than something simplistic that "just works". Quality over quantity... I think this update shows that Mojang is doing it RIGHT!

The only complaint I have is the Pork Chop dropping buff. It's like the game is starting to become easier to beat, even on hardcore.

I actually think that change makes sense. Cows have always dropped at least one piece of raw beef, haven't they? Why shouldn't pigs also drop pork? Why shouldn't pigs drop at least 1 pork each time you kill them?

posted a message on Eye of Ender leading to a stronghold-less area
My friend and I are both having this issue. We both never played Minecraft prior to the 1.0 release. We toss up the Eyes of Ender, like you're supposed to, and they lead us in a direction. When they start going straight down, we dig, all the way to bedrock, and find nothing. Both of our maps are using totally random, Minecraft 1.0 generated seeds (different seeds), with structures ON. I'm not sure how to fix this, but I'd like to go to The End area and farm me some ender stone, and slay the dragon, etc.

Edit: This is a SSP (survival single-player) game.
