posted a message on Which babies spawn naturally?

I want to create a universal mob sorter for mob farms and I want to make it as simple as possible. I know which adult mobs spawn naturally but I don't know if the baby variants do. Which of the following baby mobs spawn naturally without player influence?

EDIT: I cut down the list a lot because most of the babies don't drop items

    Baby Zombie

    Baby Zombie Villager

    Baby Zombie Pigman

    Baby Husk

    Baby Drowned

    Thanks in advance! :D

posted a message on This is Interesting...

So I got bored in class today and just like the infinite screenshot (look at my signature), I came up with an idea that I wanted to try. This one would test the limits of what the chromebook can do without crashing. I decided to try to fit the most characters into the smallest space possible and I got 1,048,576 apostorphes into just over 7 pages in google docs. Now this is only in google docs. Other note sites might be able to do that in more or less pages but I will go by google docs today. I used the following tricks to lower the amount of space I used:

    1. apostorphes (character that takes up smallest space)

    2. font size 6 (smallest font in google docs)

    3. font Saira Extra Condensed thin style (most condensed font in google docs)

    4. erased all margins from existence (to make less unused space)

    5. set line spacing to single (again to make less unused space)

    6. put all characters into subscript style (to make it even more compact)

However, if I close and reopen it, it just crashes because of the sheer amount of characters that need to load and even if I zoom out to the farthest I can go (50%), I can only see about 200,000 characters at a time max.

Why don't you try to put over 1 million into 7 pages or less? I would be happy to see what you can come up with and if you have any more tips on how to condense the characters even more it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

posted a message on No damage on dropped mob tools/armor?

I think I figured it out. Zombies shed their tools and armor when they become drowned! Th best part is the armor isn’t damaged at all. This means I can have an endless tool/armor farm also! :D

posted a message on Health-Removing Sword

I used a command block to give me a sword with the attribute of maxHeath. I set it to -20 to remove all my health when I hold it just to see what happens. When it happens, your health bar gets removed completely. You are fine and nothing much happens for the first few moments until you just suddenly and utterly die. The weirdest thing is that it seems like to hostile mobs, you are still there and in fact somehow you are. When I did it at night and I died, apparently I attracted the attention of a creeper which, even after I died, came over to where I died and blew up that area. Then the camera started shaking violently and only then did it display a death message (for the night example the death message appeared when the creeper blew where I died up and it displayed I was blown up by creeper). If someone could explain why this happens and the mechanisms behind it I would be thankful.

posted a message on No damage on dropped mob tools/armor?

In my Bedrock Edition survival world, I have a zombie/drowned farm from a zombie spawner. If I let the mobs drop into the kill space alone for long enough I find that there items in there, but only tools and/or armor. The weirdest thing is they have absolutely no damage at all. This makes me wonder: why does this happen, what causes it, and how can I use it to my ability to get undamaged armor from mobs?

posted a message on Are tridents too easy to get?

I just checked with the minecraft wiki on tridents and apparently, they actually deal 1 more heart of damage (4 and a half hearts) than diamond swords (but have the durability of an iron sword) for melee and 4 hearts for ranged. That makes them pretty powerful without enchantments. Also, what about drowned without a trident equipped dropping a trident? However, all your other points seem to make sense. Enchantments for tridents are very rare (and apparently drowned have only a 3.7% chance of dropping a trident itself) and if you use it for ranged combat without loyalty, it is pretty pointless.

Although, I still think it is pretty easy to get for being 1 half-heart stronger than diamond swords. All you have to do to get a trident is kill (on average) 28 drowned to get one. You don't even need to go that deep as long as you can lure them up to the surface and kill them that way or create a drowned farm from a zombie spawner. However, for diamond swords, you need to find diamonds which requires a lot of mining and mob fighting (unless you are really lucky with generated structures or caves). Diamond swords are also only melee weapons that deal 8 half-hearts of damage.

posted a message on Are tridents too easy to get?

I believe tridents are too easy to get for how powerful they are because a drowned doesn’t have to be holding a trident for you to get one by killing it. And since drowned are really common in the oceans, it makes it easy to get one. Zombies are even more common and you don’t have the risk of drowning to find one and they turn into drowned after being submerged, so all you have to do is create a zombie farm with a batch of water where you kill them and then wait. You now have an endless source of tridents (I have a survival world and I already got 8 tridents that way). However, one might argue the other end saying that you might not spawn near water or that dungeons are rare and not all dungeons are zombie spawners, or that the drowned killing is the only way to obtain them in survival. So let me hear your opinions in your replies: should tridents be made more rare or not?

Minecraft: very late 2010+ or nearly 8 years or over 1/2 of my life

Roblox: very early 2017+ or nearly 2 years or over 1/8 of my life

Desmos (not really a game): mid 2017+ or about 1.5 years or exactly 1/10 of my life

note this isn’t the amount of time I have actually been playing each game, but how long since I started playing each game and the percentage of my whole life I have known of the game.

posted a message on Which universe’s physics determine cosmic inflation rate?

I know that many of you may not know what I'm talking about, but I'm gonna ask this here anyways.

Vacuum Decay is an event when a quantum field collapses into a lower ground state. This will cause a "bubble", which will essentially be a new universe, that will expand at the speed of light in all directions basically deleting everything it touches from both universes. This new universe will have different laws of physics from ours and this might be how our universe formed (keep in mind I am oversimplifying things in this paragraph).

However, if our universe did in fact occur from this, then why is our universe's expansion allowed to be faster than the speed of light from OUR physics instead of the previous universe's physics? Does this mean that if vacuum decay occurs for us and the new universe's physics allow the new universe to expand faster than light, it will be able to expand faster than the speed of light in our universe? If the answer is no, could it be that the reason our universe expands faster than light is because of the previous universe's laws of physics?

Thanks in advance for reviewing my question and sorry if you didn't understand it. Also, just because this is a question that requires a lot of knowledge doesn’t mean I copied and pasted it from another site. Some other person accused me of that when I asked the question on discord, so I’m just putting it out there in case anyone else is thinking the same thing.

I can dedicate a server temporarily to advancing this idea. But I will need to make it whitelisted, and only for people interested, in developing this idea. We would need a Discord (Which I can provide) and great planning. But developing an A.I. is a lot of work. Would need redstone hardware engineers and command enthusiasts collaborating to get anywhere.

Many "hacks" would be made to reduce the strain on redstone/command usage.

A server sounds like a great idea! Although, I don't think I will be able to be on a whole lot if I can join.
