posted a message on Improving Minecraft visuals

KUDA, SEUS, Slidurs, Chocapic, Continuum, there's tons of shaders out there and all are stable. Some require a more powerful computer than others (SEUS in particular is rather intensive) but really it just comes down to preference because they all have different styles of lighting, wind, water, and other such stuff. I would recommend just watching showcases of all the shaders and some comparison videos and just choose the one you like the look of the best.

posted a message on Revamped Enchanting System, No RNG, balanced

This doesn't sound like it's balancing enchanting at all, it just makes it more of a chore and removes the primary use of lapis lazuli. For one, 100 levels for an enchantment is absolute ludicrousy. Taking 30 levels max is perfectly fine, especially since you keep most of your levels after you enchant something. It's just enough to have to work for your exp, but not so much that it's a complete pain or will punish you too severely if you end up dying. Secondly, allowing you to choose your enchantments essentially makes enchanted books useless, especially those obtained from villagers. One of the main uses for villagers is obtaining useful enchanted books for people who don't want to deal with the random chance of the enchanting table. Thirdly, if all the enchantments require different items, it makes lapis lazuli useless again. Before it was just used as a dye, and everyone rejoiced (I think) when it was given the use of "enchantment fuel", and now you can make blue dye with common flowers so removing its use as enchantment fuel would make it even more useless than it was originally!

posted a message on Tundra/Arctic Biome Update

Igloos are a completely unique spawn in this biome, as well as a unique type of village, and foxes already have a white coat when spawning in snowy taigas, which can be next to the snowy tundras. I think an ice temple would certainly be cool though, maybe in the ice spikes biome. And while I don't think elks or penguins would necessarily add that much I'm sure owls could use a unique mechanic! Although they definitely wouldn't spawn in the tundra, since there aren't any trees.

Maybe there could be a new type of tundra, instead of "snowy tundra" just "tundra", with reddish grass, sparsely placed spruce trees, and more passive mob spawns.

That would be completely unbalanced in multiplayer, and likely even unbalanced in singleplayer. Would be a lot better if red dragons got added instead, although it might be hard to add them in properly.

Where is the curseforge page at?I wanna suggest something to Mojang and to the Aether developers.

    https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/the-aether-ii

The curseforge page is here. If you want to suggest something to the Aether devs join the discord server at the bottom if you have discord, but if it's to add the Aether to the PS4 edition it's not happening, Mojang and the Aether devs don't work together and Mojang will never add the Aether.

    Quote from lezanman»

There is not much use for the rabbit rather than attracting baby mobs. Baby zombies are very rare so theres not really a reason to add these other than a "silly funny" addition like parrots dancing, which I despise of.

    No Support

So you don't like adding silly fun stuff to a game about having fun? Why?

This seems like a pretty good addition, having actual rabbit pets would be great rather than just imprisoning them.

posted a message on The Rougeworld

Neat ideas but it doesn't need its own dimension. This can all just be placed in the ocean biome.

posted a message on Sky Dimension (originally a scrapped feature)

They're not going to just add the aether mod to the game, and all the other stuff you suggested for the dimension is useless. It's just the overworld but floating, wow how interesting. Besides, the sky dimension wasn't really scrapped, it just became the End, so there's no need for another sky dimension.

posted a message on Exotic Birds - Herons, Owls, Pelicans and MORE!

I've been looking for a mod like this for quite a while, can't believe it took so long to find! I also love the addition of the Phoenix, it's a super cool mob. A suggestion for a kind of alternative to this could be a Thunderbird, perhaps it could be found rarely in certain biomes during a thunderstorm, and requires you to tame it? Another mythical bird suggestion is a lot more unreasonable, but I think a Roc boss in Extreme Hills biomes would be awesome.

posted a message on 3-way and 4-way rails

This would be great, at least the 4 way rails. We already have a sort of 3 way system in place though, if theres multiple places that a rail can connect then I believe you can charge it with redstone to change it.

posted a message on New enchantment for 1.14 or maybe 1.15

It's a really useful idea (that's been said thousands of times...) but it makes furnaces and coal almost completely useless. So for balance reasons I wouldn't want this added.

posted a message on Pixel's Dimensions Ideas Part 1: The Dragon Realm!

If dragons ever get added they do not need a new dimension. If you want dragons just add them to the other dimensions, and if you want it to be post-end content just make it so that they only spawn after the enderdragon has been defeated once. Of course that does still pose some problems for multiplayer, but adding a new dimension for a single mob that just looks like other dimensions is absolutely unnecessary

posted a message on how about minecraft dungeons huh

I think it'll be cool! A dungeon crawler with the Minecraft style is somewhat I've thought about quite a few time honestly, and I think it'll fit the genre pretty well. There's a lot they can do with it and I think it's unfair to really judge it based on just the cinematic alone, we'll have to see how it turns out when gameplay comes out.

posted a message on Do people still play 1.8?

I play on 1.8.9 not because of combat, but because the server I play on is a Thaumcraft server, and the most recent version of Thaumcraft isn't quite stable yet. Can't wait to update though, all the new features will be great!

posted a message on Chairs (With a Use!)

This is going to have to be a no support from me. You can already make chairs pretty simply, with stairs and item frames/slabs, using creative methods to get different shapes of chairs like having the floor be slabs so you can make it look like there's wool half-slabs as the base. None of these interesting methods would have come about if these were aded to the game, and like the developers say, I think this would take away some of the creativity of the game.
