Made tools, found the staircase leading to the wizard (but couldn't go up them yet), found iron, found gold, made a house of trees, didn't even tried to farm. But then I couldn't find the staircase leading to the gem level, and didn't feel like making more torches, so I gave up. All in one life btw, didn't die once :biggrin.gif:. Ended up watching a video of someone defeating the Air Wizard for me.
YAY FOR LAZINESS!

Logic? Is that really your argument? This is a game, not a physics simulator. Anyways, how the stop watch would work in multiplayer is still up for discussion, whether it would just not be added or if it would only affect things within a certain area. Also, I cannot see how the compass is broken. For defeating one of the toughest, practically invincible mobs in the game, you get a seemingly overpowered item THAT HAS DURABILITY (maybe you should re-read my post, because I clearly state that both items have durability, disregard any of my further post regarding my original one). The only reason I even suggested it having no durability later on is because there is only one dragon, one egg, one opportunity to make these items.
If you have any more outrageous complaints, please think about it before you actually post it.
As neat as that would be (the multiplayer part) it would completely break the game.
As for the breeding, it's a possibility, but the idea might need to be a bit more refined.

Well, until they add something like that, let's just leave it as normal ice for now, just so things don't get too complicated.
Technically, it's Jeb now, that was posted before Notch stood down.

Well of course it'll be able to upgrade more than just these two items, these were just the only ones that I could think of at the time.

That could work, but I don't think it should completely nullify the effect, considering a leather jacket doesn't exactly keep one warm in extreme cold. Maybe it could lengthen the amount of time needed for you obtain the "Freezing" status effect.

Well to be honest, I think they should just let us fight him again by right clicking him or something, but yea, until they add the option to fight him again, it might be good to make it last forever.

When the player uses the watch, EVERYTHING slows down, including other players, but you yourself continue to move at normal speed. That's how it would look through your eyes.
Through someone Else's eyes:
That player started to move extremely fast.
When saying this, I think of the Flash and how it works with him. However, the "Are of Effect" idea could work fine as well (the it slows things down it a specific area bubble thing). Since I can see how what I'm saying can be a bit confusing.

About the freezing effect, tundra's don't freeze because well, you're not surrounded by ice on every side. But whatever, jeb has yet to add any environmental status effects yet, so I don't see why he should start here.
As for the picture, the size of it there is irrelevant because I'm just trying to give you an idea of what it'll look like with the chest inside of it and stuff. The size of it can be changed to whatever it needs to be for it to feel more realistic (and that includes the underwater part).
I was also thinking that if the treasure was found without a dungeon, then the treasure wouldn't be as good then it would be if it was found with a dungeon (for example, there would just be some raw meat or flesh as opposed to there being diamonds in the chest in the dungeon).
For your continent idea, I think you're thinking of giant glaciers. They basically already are giant Ice islands, except without the island part. But I do like the idea of there being an ice temple with traps and things on the tops of it, but that should be left to a different suggestion, since this one is mainly focusing on icebergs.

Yea, i'm sure it would. The way I look at it, it could just look like the player started to move really fast.

However, the pickaxe and the axe's 'power' are terrible (in my opinion). There is also no need for a hoe that does that, just crouch, it's not that hard.

Whether you have a lot of swamp biomes or a little is all dependent on how the world generates. You can build on a swamp as much as you could anywhere else. And swamps are nice, life isn't all puffy happy smiles, there are the gloomy sides of the world as well, thus the swamps.

Okay, but even if it is currently possible to do, it's still a lot more complicated then just placing a color-coded item on it. Besides, I don't think that many people even know that that website exists. :/

Yea, that could also work. Either way, this would be a lot more organized than what the current system is. And yea, if a portal isn't officially linked to another one, then it would still act like a normal portal, until it becomes linked.

There needs to be a way for you to link specific portals together, making the distance between them irrelevant. Maybe you would make it by combining nether wart, colored dye, and a redstone torch? together. The idea is that each item would be color coded, and a portal would lead to the portal with the same colored item attached to it. Either way, how you make it isn't really important right now. What's important is how it works.
Basically, you would take, say, the blue version of the item, and place it on a portal in the overworld, and then you would place another blue one on a portal in the Nether. At that point those two portals will be linked, and will always lead to each other, either until one is destroyed or the item is removed from one of the portals. You could have two portals next to each other, and still have them lead somewhere other than the same portal. You would only be able to link two portals together though, you wouldn't be able to place the blue version on three portals.
