Voxel, a free iPod application, can be used as a good way to plan setups and buildings of various types.

It's not another minecraft clone with a purpose that mimics minecraft's, but it's a small and fun application that allows the use of different colored bricks built in any formation you wish; which in turn, can simulate plan for minecraft.

I found it to be a useful app for whenever you have an iPod, spare time, and are thinking about minecraft.

I figured I'd share it with you guys who want to minecraft on the go.

P.S. I would link the app but I can't due to the fact that I'm currently on my iPod.
P.P.S Sorry if this is in the wrong thread, I figured it was a pretty general topic.

As awesome as Etho is, and how amazing his wood dispensers are... we can't all nominate one person.

I nominate DrZhark for his awesome Mo' Creatures Mod. Hands down amazing.

posted a message on three things you like, three things you hate
    I like:
    •the ability to change textures
•the fact that no matter how hard you try, a creeper will get you when you least expect it
•the randomly generated awesomeness of the worlds

    I hate:
    •how few mobs there are
•how gunpowder isn't all too common
•the fact that you can't make half-steps out of every block

Great job! You get major kudos for learning all of that stuff to add new mobs. That's the one thing I was upset about buying minecraft, coming to the realization that I had seen and killed every monster within the first day. (minus blobs, still haven't seen one) Keep up the good work! And go go gadget bats!

P.S. My only negative comment is that wolf sounds get really really annoying really fast. Probably because they seem to be louder than everything else. But other than that - AMAZING job!

P.P.S. This was the 2nd mod I ever installed, just thought I'd add that.

tldr: good job! Wolves are loud. This is the 2nd best mod I've ever dled.

Little metallic impurities burning up... I can see that. For a second I actually considered changing the torches back to less gas-lamp-like qualities for my own personal use but I couldn't put myself through that sort of injustice, they're just too awesome!

And don't worry about the castle, majority of it was built in my head rather than on the actual game. With the complete flip of medieval to steampunk I can keep much of the elements of my idea but going them a nice industrial twist to all of them, which can - in turn - only make it that much better.

As far as the robots go, it's a must! I'd deal with bone-clanking automatonic soldiers if I had to, but the visual aspect is a requirement. I have no doubt that when this pack is completely done, that it'll be flawless!

And no problem, thanks for the speedy reply!

Made an account for the forums just to give my input!

    Best. Texture. Pack. Ever.
    Keep up the good work!
The only thing I've been worried about with it is how the nether will look aesthetically. But I think it's coming together. I've actually contemplated the idea of green sludge instead of lava. Still something to watch out for, still something that could cause bodily harm, and it wouldn't look too out of place imo. Not to mention the already bits of green torch-based flames popping out of the bright red lava looks slightly off, but I'm a perfectionist, so that's bound to bother me.

Before your textures I was working on a huge kingdom with a castle, town, farm, etc. But now that's all being redone for your pack. (along with the help from the underwater breathing apparatus and elevator mods)

I can't wait for the steam-driven robots making clanking and steam sounds instead of moans.
Or the robotic pressure gauge spiders!
Or the doomsday ticking time bomb kamikazes!!
    Or..!
    Yeah... Got carried away...

    tldr: good job dude.
