Somewhere above the roughly established line of skirmishes, a half summoned hawk burst open. Not that anyone would notice, they were too busy running from... that thing, only a confusion of images before the link between Seth and the hawk was broken. It is a delicate maneuver to summon a creature outside of your sight, and the immediate feedback of the roar ruined Seth's plan to survey the field from above; at least the hawk hadn't died, that's something you don't want to experience unless you're the one dying.
After taking a few moments to calm down and compose himself, he went down the checklist of large flying creatures:
Rocs, dragons, phoenixes,... could sphinx fly? and finally, magicians with nothing better to do than fly scary kites.
The... Magic kind? I mean, so far we have documented Light magic for healing, and blood magic I assume is "circle" rituals of various kinds.

Seth dearly wanted to return to his studies, but nobility was not given to young upstart mages without military talent; he delayed being dispatched to the front lines for as long as possible, becoming a trained "dragon slayer" first. Way to give the section a good rep guys.... I think it says something that we can't have a fun thrown together rp, like the only thing that keeps you monsters back is the sacred power imbued in the words "rules".

seriously only situation i could think of. Simply having scrolls in the title is a petty thing to argue over, though legal.
