    All the links are the same, A,B and C just spawn you in different locations to make traveling to other challenges easier. If you are new to the map (which I assume you are), you'll want to download 2.6.1A. However, if you've already played challenges 1-8 I'd recommend 2.6.1B, or if you want to play the newest challenges, 2.6.1C.

    The new start area provides a nice intro to the map, for old and new players alike. The 19th stage is fine in design, but it really shines when it comes to speedrunning and moving consistently.
    I also noticed the new difficulty "Inasane", I can't wait, :P

    But, that's part of the reason why conserving resources is so important, you already have rather limited amounts as it is, the further use of these ores when they are put towards the VM just makes the map even more challenging.

    I prefer mountains, I find them (generally) easier to traverse, believe it or not, with jungles, I feel like it can take an entire day to walk just 300 blocks because of all the hills and ground foliage. With aesthetics, jungles look cluttered, and the generation code feels overall too rushed to me. With mountains, the only real element to them is the mountain itself, which never failed to amaze me, especially the 'Alpha' Era mountains. When it comes to ease of building I'd say they are pretty evenly matched, especially now that the colored planks are out. Mountains generally go best with 'stony' houses, and jungles go best with more natural looking houses (houses that have elements such as water, trees/wood/planks and grass incorporated into them.)

    I'm glad to see you have the next few zones planned out, the biggest problem I see in a lot of mapmakers is that they run out of ideas. I can't wait for the destroyed zone, all of the challenges sound really interesting.

    I believe a more specific and less, possibly misleading version of this phrase could be:
    Ladders are missing from some of the checkpoint towers, specifically, <30> and <31>. Every other area of the course seems to be fine though.
    (Despite the missing ladders, it isn't impossible to do a straight run-through of <29-32>)

    Glad to see the next version of the map released, I'm gonna try the newest challenge now, gonna try to give feedback/opinions.

    EDIT: My thoughts on the Tranquil Park:
    Just finished the Tranquil Park course. For the most part I enjoyed, it was a bit similar to the other garden course at some parts, but I found it surprisingly original compared to what I thought the course would turn out to be. The only course that I felt was too similar was <167> (compared to <14>), but I was able to overlook that. On a final note, I enjoyed the way you used the new planks, it also helps prevent the course from looking too much like the Serene Garden

    Do you have plans for any more add-ons? I loved the biomes added to the already great ExtrabiomesXL, in the RPG add-on. When I see biomes mods for Minecraft, I usually expect to see 5-10 biomes, tops. However, the amount of biomes in this mod are staggering. I can't wait for the next update.

    My thoughts on upgrading from stone to iron (and eventually iron to diamonds): Why use/make a iron tool and swear only to use it for mining ores? Why make something if you're never going to use it, whenever I make a tool, I don't just stick it in a chest for all eternity, unless I'm making more than 50 picks, then I store some, but never long term. (To be perfectly honest, diamonds aren't that rare anyways.)

    Honestly, I depends on how much people ask for it. V8 came out 2-3 weeks earlier because people insisted, while V9 literally sat on my desktop done, but no one asked. Knowing that people care gives me great motivation to finish up. As of now though, I would say If I took all my time May, but If I rushed I could get it down April. However if we start getting lots a game-changing weekly updates from Jeb, I am going to want to incorporate them in a big version. (Waiting for 1.3)

    I'm surprised not as many people were interested in V9. I can't wait for V10, but I also hope some larger Minecraft updates start happening. (Nothing as monumental as 1.8, but something more then sheep regrowing their wool and minor bugfixes.)

    What kind of time frame are we looking at for v 10's release, several months? I know it was said on the previous page it won't be out any time soon, I was just wondering exactly how long you were planning on working on v. 10.

    Don't forget you can download the individual courses from the link Tetrix has provided both above on this page, and in the main post. If the lag from the single stage is causing you problems, there's not much more you could do.

    posted a message on Can't have Fun in Minecraft Anymore
    Take a break for a while ,try a month or two while forceing yourself to not play Minecraft, then come back. I left MC for a while after 1.7.3 and started playing again around the 1.9 PR's. I Also did the same from Alpha 1.2.4 (I think) to Beta 1.2, personally, when I came back it helped restore my interest in MC. (I'm starting to get bored again too, so I'll probably take a break soon.)
