You could make the "interior" be a separate dimension, like the outer lands in thaumcraft.

I wouldn't want a separate dimension for something like that. It'd just mess with the immersion imo.

posted a message on Minecraft not loading or opening up after pressing play and after installing liteloader with forge?

I never liked liteloader because of the fact it made you use a whole new version profile. Instead of running the liteloader installer, put it in a folder, right click it, and click extract here. If you don't have that option install winrar. Once you've extracted it there should be a liteloader jar file. Put that in the mods folder and just run the regular forge profile.

The guardians in vanilla already look like that, you realize?

I can't make an "interior" of a mob. I wanted to make a whale boss like that, but there's just no way.

Do you mean there's no way to make the interior bigger than the outside texture? Couldn't you possibly implement something like Gulliver's mod where you shrink down whenever you enter the inside of a creature and all the mobs are miniaturized as well?

For the tribal hunters it'd be cool if there was a hunter with a special kind of blowdart that when hit by a dart would make you paralyzed. Then they'd do some sort of sacrifice thing that you need to escape somehow.

Posting it here as well because it applies to all of your mods:

Can you please please just write the actual version number instead of
LATEST in the downloads file name?

I had an old LATEST and a new LATEST file and there is no proper way of distinguishing which is the newer one when
they are both called the same without trying to load it up in minecraft or unzipping it and look in the mcmod.info.

It is no problem to call the link to the file the "LATEST" download, but please not latest in the filename.

This confuses a lot when trying to do updates to a modpack.

Ya, I agree. I usually have to click the all versions, go through the ad.fly link, and click on the 1.7.10 folder to see what version it's called.

This should work at least in 1.8.

But I would not use this if you not really need it as it is really unsafe really low level code that can mess you're computer up.

I'll make sure to try everything I can before I use it if it is as unsafe as you say. Also I'd need to look up a tutorial on how to compile code. Thanks!

posted a message on increase biome limit mod

There's a mod that increases the max world height, one that increases the max items/blocks ids, there has to be one that increases the number of biomes right? Does anyone know of one? And speaking of limits why can't Mojang just do what they did with items/blocks and increase the biome limit to 4096?

    Regarding the colourful blocks mod:

Does it cause any lag to do it that way? I've heard colors have to be saved as tile entities if you want to go above the max number of block id's which that mod definitely goes above. So would they cause lag like other tile entity blocks do like micro blocks?

the key word here is "not enough". if something has like 3 votes and something else 50 he will not include that thing, and even then he might bring it up again on another poll. besides, it doesn't matter, voting for everything is the same as voting for nothing because the statistics stay the same. so if you want everything equally, you might as well just not vote at all.

I don't think he's looking at ratios, just how many people actually voted for it. Voting for everything equally shows we want all the features, not just 1.

posted a message on WorldGuard, can't find which one is the one

This should be the one. http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/worldguard/files/40-world-guard-5-9/

Also you shouldn't be putting world guard in the client side mods folder or any mods folder. It's been a while since I've messed with server stuff but you should have Bukkit installed and put WorldGuard in the plugins folder. Here's the correct Bukkit link. http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/bukkitgui/files/75-bukkitgui-v2-0-0-215-beta/

posted a message on mystcraft dimension limit

I know there's around 500 possible dimensions for minecraft (255 positive and 255 negative right?) but does mystcraft follow those rules as well? In other words will mystcraft eventually reach a limit on how many ages you can make and what happens if you reach that limit? Will it overwrite age 1 books and slowly work its way up or maybe it'll just crash?

well, yea, but i prefer seeing premissions then redstone controlled zones. thats the idea in a pole, to see what people want more then other things. the thing that you want earlier should be your vote.

If he wanted to see what people wanted more than another then he would've made it a single choice poll. He even says "I will not include something if it has not enough votes!"

so far only two people voted: me, and another guy who thinks it real funny to vote for everything.

I thought that was what he was implying when he said it's multi choice. I want to see all the options implemented don't you?

I kinda feel like that mod is not as good as it could be.The mobs are mostly from the older games, and the dungeons are boring. There are also very few boss mobs, and most of the mobs are the more boring ones from the series.

Ya, I agree. I don't think the gorons even roll up into a ball and the textures for the mobs are ok I suppose but not really that great. I wonder if anyone would be interested in making a proper twilight princess mod with nice textures, interesting mobs, and have the mobs stay true to the ones in the game. Hey mowzie...
