Basically, it's a realistic, voxel based space sim akin to minecraft in that space is generated and populated with asteroids, suns, planets, etc. All of those mentions are planned to be released, as the game is still in alpha. The creator himself describes it best.
It's already got voxels, heat simulation, kilometer long spaceships, real world materials, organic ships, and awesome music. Eventually, it's going to have AI crew, multiplayer, inertia, planets, and more.

Ri5ux. In response to what I meant earlier, I just meant that the blocks for iron wall/grating/etc don't really give out what you'd expect. Instead of getting four blocks back for spending like, 9 titanium ingots, why not sixteen blocks? That would give a bit more incentive to actually use the blocks, as right now the amount of titanium gotten isn't really proportional to the amount of iron walls i want.

In other news, I was wondering how xeno growth worked.
I saw in the change logs that if the player died to a facehugger he was chestbursted, and the chestburster grew into aliens etc etc.
Would it be possible to implement a capture system for NPC's, as well as for Xeno's? Or atleast be able to find the eggs?
I'd like the possibility to be able to infest villagers with Xeno's - if it isn't too much trouble.
Also, not sure if you've played AvP 3, but any plans to implement a turret system?
One more question then - sorry to be a bug. Any chance of including a marine spawning system that allows them to follow you/set to protect a spot?

I have a few things though that I had hoped you could respond on and possibly implement.
First; Is it possible to up the returns when making iron walls/grating/etc? To build an entire base around those awesome blocks would take crap-tons of material. Any chance of getting x16 returns instead of x4?
And secondly; any plans to implement a capture system for the xeno's? I would very much like to create a research lab in my world.
