...it wouldn't be. Seriously, it just isn't worth it if that's all you're doing....... etc.

im not sure you clearly understand what im trying to do. all i was looking to do was change the texture of the sky from black to blue or something like that

    nope.
Even when I did not install battlegear, I can't see that my hands.

can you please list ALL the mods you are using?

also, i find when building a modpack a clean install can fix issues. sometimes if you install a mod and remove it because its causing crashes, files linger and later can cause stupid problems. try reinstalling your minecraft. (MAKE SURE YOU BACK UP YOUR SAVES!!) also you should backup screenshots, texture/resource packs, mods, and config files..

What would it take to port this mod to 1.9? I have not seen any map editor mods in 1.9 yet.

    http://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/worldedit
pretty sure worldedit works just fine for 1.9 (this is the worldedit mod, not plugin, it needs forge)

this kinda looks like a copy of world edit to me, except world edit only needs 1 "wand" and you are using several

posted a message on Looking for s mod that allows me to create custom dungeons

    Hello

im not looking for an exact fit, but a mod/plugin that i might be able to setup to work for my needs?

i am trying to make an adventure map (that is intended for to be run on a server using cauldron) and im trying to find a mod/plugin that will allow me to create custom dungeons in my map. there are going to be several "dungeons" and it would be helpful if two players could play the same dungeon at the same time, but not play together so they dont interfere with each others questing experience. id like this to be as compact as possible so i dont overload the server with 100s of worlds. so the mod would need to make a new dungeon for each player (in the same world, kinda like skyblock or plots. but id also like them to be able to party and do the dungeon together.

maybe a mod that works like skyblock and gives each player a personal "island" aka dungeon in the same world to save space? (like plots or skyblock)

i can find ways around the party thing (like just allowing players to tp) but these are the more tricky things that i really need a mod/plugin for.

1 server needs to generate a pre-made dungeon/structure when the player tries to enter the dungeon. (like plots or skyblock

2 the players need to be able to reset the dungeon and play agian

3 i need to be able to use multiple differant dungeons

maybe a skyblock that allows multiple island per player and i can customize each "islands" preset to look like the dungeon?

currently i can use a private loot plugin so the players each get private loot from chests, but that still leaves the problem of some dude at max level farming a dungeon and stoping every other player from being able to actually play the dungeon themselves and enjoy the fights

Is there a way to edit the black sky in the Aether Dungeon dimension? i intend on allowing players to clear bedrock and build in that dimension

    Awesome

but, I can't see that my hands and tools after I install this mod. http://imgur.com/TsuTRFz

    How can I fix it?

im not sure if i can help. but battle gear seems to cause a lot of bugs and glitches with other mods from my experience. try removing battlegrar and loading a NEW world. (remember if you load an old world you will be missing all of your battle gear items)

Does this mod switch tools out before they break?

AutoSwitcher Does not, but Inventory Tweaks does http://inventory-tweaks.readthedocs.io/en/latest/

i personally LOVE using inventory tweaks along side Auto switcher

    Please put your crash reports inside a spoiler next time{the exclamation point}

I hate when people don't put that kinda stuff in a spoiler. also i kinda understand why people don't read crash reports. its because they are HUGE when you get one you start looking at the bottom of the report and have to scroll up to see the part that would actually make sense. so the first thing you see looks like gibberish (like this for example)

OpenGL: Intel(R) HD Graphics GL version 4.0.0 - Build 10.18.10.3577, Intel
GL Caps: Using GL 1.3 multitexturing.
Using framebuffer objects because OpenGL 3.0 is supported and separate blending is supported.
Anisotropic filtering is supported and maximum anisotropy is 16.
Shaders are available because OpenGL 2.1 is supported.

Is Modded: Definitely; Client brand changed to 'fml, forge'
    Type: Client (map_client.txt)
Resource Packs: [[16x16]Vaders Alternative Block Pack V1.5 For MC 1.9.zip] Current Language: English (US)
    Profiler Position: N/A (disabled)
    Vec3 Pool Size: 0 (0 bytes; 0 MB) allocated, 0 (0 bytes; 0 MB) used
    Anisotropic Filtering: Off (1)

people look at tat and think "i have no idea what the heck that means" so they just post on the forums and ask for help. but you are still right. people should read the the first few lines before asking for help

Once I got it working, it was quite fun. I am having one problem with it, though. In spectator mode, the player character will sometimes collide with blocks, instead of flying right through them. Also, the mousewheel no longer gives the fine speed control in spectator mode as it does normally. The last issue is that the Spacebar and Shift keys are reversed when controlling elevation in spectator mode. Toggling the mod's effects off with F9 didn't seem to fix the issue. So I guess I'll have to swap it out when I need the spectator cam for something.

you can try turning off smart moving flying in the config file, (the config file is in your .minecraftforld "not the config folder)

idk if this will help but personally i have the smart movement flying anyways. it makes creative mod hard to build in lol

the problem is each mod uses its own method of editing the player model and they don't like to work together so you can't pick and chose the animations

that really sucks. ill message the mod makers and see if maybe one of them will take steps to get in touch with each other or make a comparability patch
