Honestly this makes the game super easy, as it isn't easy enough.
Im calling BS on this. Minecraft is hard enough as it is, and mods nowadays try to make it harder. This mod is fair.

You know, I actually like the idea of this mod.

For some reason.....A correctly set up Smeltery refuses to deposit molten iron onto a Casting Table.....WHY!!??!!

    mod version use: 1.5.3
Is there a Cast on the table?

    Alumite's a better choice anyway.
Yeah, because I have the Sphax Texturepack and I have it patched for this mod, and it looks nice. I just need to worry about finding a Blue Slime Island and getting some saplings and the dirt/grass there.

I kinda wish there was a Steel Oreberry Bush that spawns in the Nether or something. But I caved in and went for Alumite instead of Steel.

He was already being rather generous with allowing the melting down of chainmail for steel.
Yet in order to easily get chainmail, you need another mod or something where Minecraft's default recipe for it is Fire, which you cant really get legit.

why dont you go ahead and search pigjackeys mods, he is a modder that makes realy basic mods that add 1 or 2 new things, he already created an easier steel mod, go ahead and check it out =D
I looked him up, and that's exactly the kind of Steel mod I want, but it's a 1.5.2 mod and Im using 1.6.4

Im trying to find a work around for making Steel tools that doesnt involve Chainmail or adding a mod that adds Steel but a shiz load more junk that I'd never use or using the complicated Steelworks addon.

I disapprove of any mod that aims to make Minecraft, a game that's hard enough as it is, any harder. I will never use this mod as long as I live and breath. That's just my opinion though.

Or perhaps seasonings? xD Seasonings would be awesome, maybe even include metal dusts for jerky with potion effects!
That would be awesome as hell. Maybe both our ideas? Perhaps season the meat then dry it for better effects!

mDiyo, I really love the Drying Racks in this mod. Are there any plans to expand this feature, like drying racks made of different materials give different drying speeds or possibly better/worse jerky?

All I know is I never said that Ex Nihilo itself was overpowered.

A few stone pickaxes into the iron ore dimension means literally an infinite supply of iron. I agree with crowley that the mod is overpowered without help from anything whatsoever. All hammers do extra is give you slightly more ore (somewhere around the range of doubling it).
You just reinforced what I said at the end there. Im making the Ore Dimensions my end goal of Skyblock instead of going to the End, which Im not even using his version of Skyblock. Im using the Better World Generation 4's Skyblock.

Lol, Ore Dimensions is perfectly capable of being ridiculously OP all by itself, it doesn't need any help from me.
A few hammers into the Iron Ore Dimension means literally an infinite supply of Iron. And if I can automate the sieve and cobblestone generator enough to get Diamonds and such for an Enchanting Table to try for Unbreaking and Efficiency for a Hammer, then I'd be in business.

Oh Crowley....*shakes my head in self shame* You have no idea how bad I feel for using this mod alongside one called Ore Dimensions. Ex Nihilo and Ore Dimensions together is so overpowered I cant even think straight. XD
