Don't flame me if this was stated in one of the previous 700 pages, but I have noticed a small little bug. When wearing the invisibility cloak and I try to open a chest, it opens for a second and then immediately closes. As soon as I take the cloak off, it works normally. Clearly not a big deal, just letting you know that it's there.

HOW DID YOU MAKE A 96 DIGIT COMBINATION LOCK IN HALF A HOUR??? OMG! :blink.gif:

and why 96 digits? It should be he numbers 1- 10 maybe but a 10 digit combination

    Still AMAZING!! Downloading...

Also how do you customize the combo??

Sorry for such a delay, but I have been gone on vacation for some time. It was pretty easy to build, since I just copied the first 4 digits until I had 96.

As for customizing, there are 4 blocks right next to each other, and 3 should have torches with the one block without a torch being the input required. The one block without a torch requires a block two underneath it with redstone on top (this can be seen/fixed from a little ditch on the right of the unit). So just switch which block has a torch AND move the block underneath to make sure it is underneath the block without a torch

I'm not big on judging myself, so I will let you guys decide based on my work. Here is a link with most of my work. It includes a tic-tac-toe minigame, rock-paper-scissors, 96 digit combo lock, and the progress of my next project, Bingo.

wow thats amazing. how long did it take

I would say Tic-tac-toe took the longest, I worked on it pretty steadily for a few hours a day a few days a week for maybe 3 weeks. Bingo has also taken a maybe 4-6 hours to get thus far, and I'm not even close to finishing it. Rock-paper-scissors maybe took 5 hours to build, and the combo look took about 30 minutes. Thankfully for all of my projects I have had a lot of help from the folks in the Redstone Development Foundation which has cut down on the build times significantly. Also, I do not have the best work ethic and frequently get distracted xD so all these times are just rough estimates.

Here's some of my stuff. Tic-tac-toe, rock-paper-scissor, a 96 digit combo lock, and soon (hopefully) Bingo.

    The easiest to make.

I think he means more that he wants them both to open at the same time.

OP: All you have to do is invert the power to the door that is open when you are not standing on the pressure plate. This will allow both doors to close and open together.

It should also include the upcoming computer and the in-progress telephone system

Wow there are so many projects going on, I didn't even know that someone was working on a telephone system. As for the computer, maybe you could film like progress updates on that, and if people are working on it while you are on, you can film that too.

I'd gladly do it. Shall we nominate contraptions for such videos?

I think Hex's scrolling marquee and clock would be great to show off. As well as one of Treesin's compact ALUs. One of Berick's many displays, maybe his new 5x5 ASCII. Possibly have a video dedicated to Paradox's and andibadia's minecart gates and displays. And maybe my Tic-Tac-Toe. And do it all using Vxstorm's texture pack so you can show that off too.

    Hey shrogg,
Seeing as how I am terrible at everything computer internals related, I think I would best fit in as a display designer. I'm not the best with displays, but I have done my best to create compact vertical displays for all my creations and feel that this is the only group that I would know what to do in xD

    Hello everybody,
I am currently working on creating Bingo, this will be either 1 or 2 players. This is quite an exhausting project as I had to create a 2 wide XOR that can be placed right next to another one without the wires mixing. Anyways, it's not quite done, but here is a sneak picture of the random number generator:

*Update* I would also like to take this thread in a new direction. Instead of it just being my projects, I would like for you guys to send me your redstone projects (can be as simple or complex as you want) and I will then put it up to a vote to everybody whether I should add it to the list. I'm sure this has been done multiple times before, but I honestly don't care as I feel this is a great way to get more people interested in redstone, one of the best parts of MineCraft.

A RS NOR latch will make a button act like a lever, however it requires a separate button or pressure plate to act as a reset, or just a separate input. There are many different designs for this, and almost all of them are smaller than 3x3x4. A T flip-flop will also work and does not require a reset button. With a T flip flop, the output will change with each press of the button, and the state of the output will stay constant until the button is pressed again. As far as I know this will not fit in a 3x3x4 space.

    Bad news and good news.

Unfortunately my mom was in a car accident that caused her spine to twist and bend in all the wrong directions, but will eventually heal most of the way after many doctor and chiropractor visits. She is sueing the other person (since it wasnt her fault) and will recieve a $20,000 + settlement

Good news is that money will help replace our car and internet, so I'll see you on IRC around the time the suit is resolved, but I probably won't be at a computer long enough to do much else besides do a little modding before then.

Wait, wait, wait. Your mom just got into a serious car crash and is lucky to be alive after it caused her spine to, "twist and bend in all the wrong directions" and your glad because you can get money to fix your internet out of it? I'm sorry dude, but please tell me that's not what you just said. Honestly, a video game should not be that important to you.

What am i supposed to do?

Honestly I would recommend using ChatZilla if you have Mozilla Firefox. It is a free add-on that you can use for as long as you want for free. If you don't have Mozilla...well then I can't really help, sorry.

As for the school, I like the idea of having a separate server in which everybody can have building rights, so "students" can try creating examples for themselves. Also, I like the idea of having a scheduled time (not necessarily wiring wednesday's or memory monday's or whatever, but like some time in advance have a notice that so and so will be teaching about this thingamadoohickey at this time). People can then come and go as they please. As for group voice chat, I know skype allows 6 people to chat (correct me if I'm wrong), but other than that, I don't know of any other voice chat programs.
