So are you saying Abstract Dreams is easier or something? By the way, I finished the first map.

Edit:
Woah, didn't know abstract dreams was out! I just downloaded it but I'll play it after I'm done with Edge of Unknown. Again, great maps. They're easy and yet challenging, but also require a lot of computer power. Well, again, at least in "Smooth Crater."

The good thing is that it's not going out of alpha until it's in a form where you can at least beat it. Then will come the nerfing/buffing stages and late terraformation. That's when I'll probably be releasing it to the public, so I can get a lot of bug testers. I'd love to have some close friends test the map before it goes to the public, but I'm currently at a huge lack of friends. Either they don't understand CTM maps, find the map too hard, or don't even own Minecraft.
Seriously, I really will need some help balancing the map, I can already tell it's going to be ROMHACK hard.
EDIT: Just got done with a winter storm, slowed down my internet, made it just about equivalent to a rock. I've got some pics, just waiting for a good time to post them

I prefer to build the structures myself, because I don't exactly know how the terrain will work with pre-built models. But thanks for the offer!
I've got screenshots coming today, but the map is in pre-alpha. A few wools are placed, but it's nowhere near completion. I'd love to show some of my past works, except they really aren't the best.

New, brand new, screenies of I1 and the first caves.
Hello everybody. This post was once a mass wall of words and terrible maps. I've been mapping for a long-ish time, but none of them have ever had much potential. Hence, this old forum post converted to a completely new forum post. So, these maps are CTM, Complete The Monument, meaning they are inspired mainly by Vechs' Super Hostile series. These maps follow the exact rules, as listed.
1) Find and complete the Wool Monument.
2) Find wool in chests (Fleecy Boxes) or on special boss enemies (Fleecy Mobs) scattered around the map, do NOT use dyes or spider string for wools!
3) You may craft the Iron, Gold, and Diamond blocks.
4) Use at least Easy difficulty, and never Peaceful.
5) Do not leave the boundaries of the map and go into normally generated Minecraft terrain.
6) Survive in any way you can think of. (Ender Pearls, Block breaking, crafting, KILLING)
7) You may use spider string wool and sheep wool to craft beds and other items, but not for the Wool Monument.
8) You may not pick up, craft, or move Ender Chests.
Respawn ratings are about the maps. Basically, if the map is easy, you can infinitely die and respawn. Medium, if you die without a bed, it's game over. Hard, you die and there is no respawning (in these maps you MAY NOT MAKE BEDS, no exceptions). The thing is, these are not the map difficulty ratings.\
Monument types are which monuments I choose to include in the map. These can be mini, for minimaps, regular meaning 1-16 and 3 metal, custom full which are 1-16 with custom material blocks, and finally HYRBRIDS. This is the 34 block monument up there ^
Without further ado, let's talk about difficulty ratings and the maps. My difficulty scale is based from 0-3, with 0 being casual, 0.5 being easy, 1.0 being amateur, 1.5 as professional, 2.0 as Hard, 2.5 as Hardcore and 3.0 as Hardcore Mode. Maps are styled in a few ways that can be quite unique, however, some are untested. List:
()=untested

Jukebox()
Linear Branching+
Open World Monster Hunter()
Linear+
Dungeoneer/Storm the Wool[Multiplayer, team effort only]()
Open World Fleecy Boxes+
Mini+
Now, here is a list of the maps, and some screenshots. Thanks for reading this far.
Unearthly Encounters I: Crafting the Leads
This map is a lot like Waking Up. It's extremely difficult, and it is beautifully crafted. Areas vary in looks, making everything so much more refreshing to the eye.
Type: Linear-Branching
Monument: Regular
Respawn Rating: Easy
Difficulty: Easy-Medium
Unearthly Minimaps I: EVIM (Every Villain Is Melons)
This minimap is extremely hard. It is made 100% of melons. Read the readme/readmeh
Alright, so, I won't be doing a dev com of the first map when it's done. I have broken my only microphone, meaning I can no longer commentate. Sorry.
LASTLY, THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE WHERE YOU CAN DOWNLOAD THESE MAPS (that means you, 9/e/whatever/minecraft.com). If I find my maps anywhere other than here, I will get my lawyer involved. Either way, 9minecraft/eminecraft/whateverelseminecraft sites need to be sued.

And I quote myself:
Paraphrase/changing that, you can't have this ender chest to be linked to this ender chest and carry these items, and you can't have this other ender chest assigned to these other items.

So we need a way to nerf it... I think your suggestion about only carrying one at a time would be pretty reasonable.
1
Um, no it's not. You can't have specific items assigned to specific ender chests. This allows for players to easily move houses without being completely vulnerable because they put stuff away.
Yes, only single chests. I completely agree that double chests are completely OP for this use.
And again, silk touch is fairly uncommon.
