I'm basically trying to do this, have one button for an upgrade system. If the player has enough money, change what the button does and give them the item (and clear the old item). If they don't have enough, don't change the button, and tell the player that they can't afford the upgrade. Is there a way I can do this with only command blocks (and redstone blocks) and make it scalable?
Thanks, but that's not my issue. I know how to do that, but when I try to set up a message and a sound to tell the player that they did or didn't buy the item, it ends up spamming when I click the button.

I want to be able to detect if a player does or does not have enough money for a certain item, give them the item and remove the money if they do, but don't remove the money and tell the player that they can't afford the item if they don't. I'm trying to make sure that I only use command blocks, and that the system is tilable for multiple items.
I've searched everywhere on the internet for an answer, but can't seem to make anything work.

i.e. Clicking an item that looks like a book will turn the page, but only once.

It always did this to me, I just go to the title screen before I minimize it.

I doubt it, they already have a bunch of water particles. Plus, it would look pretty weird to see those particles come off a dog.

I was looking through the texture files and I stumbled upon some particles that resemble a blue flame.
I haven't seen them used anywhere in game, does anyone know what they were going to be used for? I'm curious about them.
