Only issues I've seen so far are lighting glitches on top of chests and I'm unable to eat anything. I tried raw and cooked, put it in my hand and right clicked. Nothing.
For the millionth bajillionth time, you must HOLD DOWN WHEN YOU CLICK TO EAT.

And one last general question: Will there be any changes in the generator, between the pre-release 1.8 and the final 1.8?
Probably not, unless a glitch comes into play, and even at that, chunks will be so similar that it probably wont cause a problem. -

I honestly have to say if this is any indication of how the final release is going to be, then Mojang needs to stop and sell the rights to another company.
This is worse then terrible. It is the biggest steaming pile I have yet to see pumped out of the rectum of Mojang. Here are a list of serious flaws,
The world generation is hideous, floating little dirt clusters, chopped mountains, mine pylons floating when intersecting caves while being thin and underdeveloped and crap use of the height limits.
Whats worse is it doesn't even look anyone tried! It looks like all the suggested fixes for the world height was just copied and pasted in without regard to how the current code would handle the generation!
Half the stuff that was all dolled up was given obvious priority over core issues. Such as WORLD GENERATION AND SETTINGS FOR SUCH AS WELL AS SOME ADDED OBVIOUS FEATURES FOR ADMINING.
BUT I suppose we all know that Mojang hates multiplayer, the very thing that made them as popular as what they are, the very thing that continuously produces sales and the very thing that keeps this horrendous game alive after every glitchy, migraine inducing patch.
Where are the NPC's for these hideous villages? And yes they are hideous.
I cannot find one thing besides bows that doesn't look like it was coded in within 30 minutes.
In the end I guess it's nice to see Mojang is still only producing code for this game for the money, not the experience or for the players and PAYERS.
Way to go guys, this is the Windows ME patch of Minecraft.
Dude, its early in beta. This is nowhere near the finished product yet. -

You can help speed it up by looking for bugs, and documenting bugs with videos, screenshots, and text accounts. This is what this trial is for. An army of bloodthirsty minecraft fans will find bugs quicker than Team Mojang, if we work together. -

*Animals , when punched, run in circles for about 5 seconds, then return to their normal pathing.
*The food bar shakes when on the game menu.
*The Debug Screen still shows when on the game menu.
*Zombies give flat black XP particles, while Pigs give green XP particles.
*Eating a rotten chunk from a zombie turns your food bar to a rotten-green meat, but doesn't seem to have any ill affects. Health is still regained. Zombies may become a viable food source for legit farming(IE Dungeon spawner farms & Drowning traps)
*Sugarcane now grows on sand! -

Help. My client is vanilla minecraft. I have not modded it at all. The server is vanilla minecraft, totally unmodded.

If you want to do it over the internet you need Hamachi, which essentially sets up a lan network over the internet.

As a potion enhancer, that increases the effects of potions, or an ingredient in new potions?
0
Well, we seem to be able to make a hard block out of it with our bare pixelfists and a crafting table. Maybe it could be that Lapis doesn't conduct redstone current like other blocks, allowing the vertical redstone line to be held up by it, or something?
0
I dunno of any uses for it myself. Someone care to voice their thoughts on a use for it? Other than dying wool and lapis blocks.
Ideas:
Redstone parts(Ex, vertical redstone lines, redstone clock block)
Potions
A mob-repellant effect on solid lapis blocks?
"Improves" Snow Golems, allowing them to cause damage?

I'm wondering the same thing..

Are you still updating this? If you make a version for 1.0 it would be awesome.

Guess what, Tundra is still next to Jungles, Deserts and Savanna. People still find tiny biomes, too.

Except, Notch didn't work on a damn thing for 2 weeks. Infact, Jeb was the only one who worked on 1.8 for 2 weeks.

Yeah, AFTER they already promised all this and went through some delays. They still didnt deliver the original update as they touted it.
