Reasons why PC will not be overthrown by any console/mobile version of Minecraft;
1. Mods (Sonic Ether's Shadows, OptiFine)
2. Better performance
3. Better quality
4. No middle man (Mojang -> Microsoft -> User vs Mojang -> User)
If you bug him more, he'll work less on it. If we don't bug him, he can get it done in like one week. If we all bug him at the same time, he'll just stop and leave it at Minecraft Version 1.1.0 forever.
I can imagine it now: "Alright, I think today I'm going to work on the mod." *sees several posts saying 'I can't wait until it updates!'* "Oh, I change my mind."
He will work on it by his own schedule, not from an outside source. Saying that bugging him will contribute negatively to the time of update is ridiculous.
As for the mod, I am very excited for the update that is to come. I was extremely pleased with the 1.1 version and will definitely be using this as soon as it hits 1.2.3. The only thing I am not excited about is how it will kick my fps down, though I think I can find a way to fix that little problem.
Completely agreed. This game needs to give you a reason to travel rather than near pointless villages, mineshafts, and the end. Heck, I'd go as far as to say you can only grow certain trees in certain biomes just to prevent people from relying on only one location!
SOPA would have had this web site shut down is how it is similar. Obviously they are selling pirated goods if they sell me an illegitimate code just use your brain what do you think piracy is.
Selling a fake code =/= piracy
Selling a fake code = making you pay for something that doesn't exist
Piracy = stealing a game
To think Minecraft protested SOPA which is meant to fight exactly this.
... are you serious? Minecraft protested "Stop Online Piracy Act" because it also meant censorship. What you did was participate in a site that wouldn't provide you something because you were stupid. How is SOPA and this similar?
If you don't purchase a game from its site, look up the potentially malicious site to see if people have had a positive experience. Don't just run in and say "TAKE MY MONEY!"
(you better not respond with "I didn't just tell them to take my money" because that would be lying)
Problem with realism is that Minecraft isn't very realistic in the first place. For example, if you break the trunk of a tree, the rest doesn't fall. Or if you walk over a torch, you don't go on fire. Fall down 10 squares, you don't break a leg. To make a realism mode means to redo much of the coding, which is both time consuming and unlikely to gain any attention anyway.
You should stop griping about the little things that bother you and be thankful that Notch was even born and that the idea of Minecraft even entered his mind.
You need to learn gratefulness and respect.
Sounds almost like you're trolling, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.
"stop griping about the little things"
Yes, don't complain about how if you log out of your world and log back in, the redstone power has reset. Don't complain about the fact that animals can get out of fenced enclosures when logging out and in. Forget about how animals seem to bunch up in corners rather than spread apart when babies are present.
"be thankful that Notch was even born and that the idea of Minecraft even entered his mind."
Minus the brown-nosing, it's likely someone would/already did come up with an idea such as this. The difference is the execution, where Notch made it in a classic and original form.
"You need to learn gratefulness and respect."
They didn't disrespect anyone, they just pointed out a simple problem that occurs from time to time. It would take no more than a few moments of coding to allow such a maneuver, I imagine, which would help with in-game chat as well! And signs! Already there are plenty of areas this could come into use.
I don't see how people can look at this game the same way. It was such a simple lifestyle back in the 1.4 era without the wolves and the endermen: just a man and his wheat farm. Now it's full of breeding, apples, strongholds, mineshafts, and all of these other things. But most impacting was the hunger system and sprinting. Neither of these make the game such a simple concept anymore, but rather a game that appeals mostly to hardcore fans.
TL;DR - The casual player can't play the game as well as they used to.
Comments:
-You're not too loud, not too quiet. Just right.
-The video has a good frame rate (isn't choppy)
Concerns:
-The video quality is a little blurry
-You don't have a lot to talk about. Try discussing what you're doing, such as gathering wood or hunting
-One person Let's Plays often fall short of those with multiple people (PaulSoaresJr, etc.). Consider getting a partner!
-You seem to lack the experience of a Let's Play. Try making a few tutorials and etc. before getting into it

I hope you use this criticism positively =P
