First of all, does anyone know where I *should* be getting my legacy jars from? I wound up getting it from a place that felt reasonably unofficial, which means that I can't say anything about the problem I am encountering with as much certainty as I would like.
I am currently trying to set up a 1.5.2 server. More specifically, I'm trying to set up a better than wolves server for 1.5.2. However, I noticed as I was going along that I cannot even run (what I'm fairly certain is) the vanilla jar for 1.5.2.
When I run the line: "java -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar minecraft_server.jar nogui" (with or without the "nogui" part attached), I receive the following error:
"Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/lwjgl/LWJGLException
at java.lang.Class.getDeclaredMethods0(Native Method)
at java.lang.Class.privateGetDeclaredMethods(Unknown Source)
at java.lang.Class.getMethod0(Unknown Source)
at java.lang.Class.getMethod(Unknown Source)
at sun.launcher.LauncerHelper.getMainMethod(Unknown Source)
at sun.launcher.LauncherHelper.checkAndLoadMain(Uknown Source)

(I'd love to say that that came from a log file, but as far as I can tell, no log file is being created, so I'm copying this by hand :|)
Does anybody know what's going on, and how to fix this?
I'm running Skyden (version 1.1), with all the mods that entails, and the last version of the forge for 1.4.7.
The other person is running the same mods and the same version of the forge.
We both have legit copies of Minecraft (Because apparently the first question people ask when you get this error is "ah, you pirated the game, right?"... no, I didn't.)
the error is:
"Java.net.SocketException: Permission denied: Connect". Does anyone know what is going on here and how I can fix the error?
Here's the first video. Also, it's the Ampz pack, plus Computercraft, because I needed something for an autominer. If you aren't familiar with the format, I chose to make short (~3 minute) episodes when I started my last season, and this is the first time I've had content go into a second season like this!
Feel free to tell me what you think, either here, or in the comments section. (If you've got something nice to say, it might be nice to say it here, because that'll bump the thread, and maybe draw more interest to it! :P)
I know that Dook the First used to be guy to send such messages to, but he doesn't seem to be reading them any more. Is there anyone else I could send them to, or is getting that explained just not a thing that is possible any more?
The one under videos (under show your creation) is titled "Lets Play", and the one under Video/series help is titled "Let's Play". (Note that the second spelling is correct.)
Can you guys please fix this? It makes finding the one in the Videos section harder (because you can't just use CRTL+F), and it's worse because you different spellings at different times, so I know it can't just be a format issue.
The idea here is to make an LP made up of videos short enough that watching them isn't a huge investment of time.
Edit: derp, I put "one" in my title, I didn't mean to.
The second video is also a thing:
Edit 2: Hey, and feel free to tell me what you think of this whole thing! I think it's a pretty cool idea, but I'd like some feedback to know if everyone else thinks it is a good idea!
