OP, you do not need a 3930k (a 3770k is overkill for most people anyway), H100 water cooling, an overly expensive dedicated sound card, 3 high end video cards, expensive as hell case that sucks compared to BF Shinobi XL/Corsair 650D, expensive as hell RAM, 2 low quality large SSDs, and expensive as hell motherboard.
Give us a budget and what you intend to do with it & we'll make you a build.
I meant the Hyper 212+ is one of the best air coolers for it's price, if not the best, and I also said the Thor is a great budget case.
Also, not meaning to troll, but if the Hyper 212 isn't the best air cooler out there, why didn't you get a better one in your computer in your signature? If you can afford a 7850, you'd think you can afford the "best" air cooler out there, lol.
IMO, get rid of the 3930k, go for a 3770k. You'll save $200+, and you won't gain much with a 3930k. Also, I'd get a Hyper 212+ instead of the liquid cooler. It costs $35 and is the BEST air cooler out there, easily. It might even be better than that liquid cooler.
16 GB RAM? You don't need 2400 RAM either... Lots of mobo's require overclocking to handle 2400. Unless you plan on running multiple virtual machines for programming, 8 GB is more than enough RAM. What are both SSD's for? I think a 120 GB single SSD would be more than enough to store your OS, programs, and some games. If you plan on RAIDing them for backing up each other, then don't do that. SSD's are killed easily by read/writing, and even so, just get an external HDD, they're cheap, and the USB 3.0 ones have awesome speeds.
You do not need 3 GTX 670's. That is complete overkill. You'd need at most 2 for a 3 monitor setup. You also don't need a soundcard, the onboard sound is basically all you need. You can save on that case if you get a Rosewill Thor V2 case. Best full ATX tower that has bang for the buck. The PSU is waay to much, you can lower it to 750 W. DVD Drive looks good, unless you don't plan on using Blu Rays, then you can get an OEM DVD drive for like $20.
3 monitors? 2 is usually enough, and you don't really need W7 Ultimate. I have it because I got it for free from somebody I know who works at Microsoft, but compared to Home Premium, there is basically no difference.
So yeah, I think I probably saved you at least $500 with those recommendations in about 5 minutes. Might want to rethink this build, these parts are extremely overkill for basically anything. If you're future-proofing, get a single high power GPU. 3 GPU's will generate a ton of heat, and eat a lot of power. You'll probably regret getting 3 in the future, and rather just have a single card.
For those who actually care to get this terrain.png, this is the non-adf.ly link. I'll bite my tongue on the rest.
Sorry about that, fixed the issue, but can you please make a bitly link, or something that is publicly trackable? I like to see how many people have downloaded this pack.
Ahhh, that's a bit clearer. Still, I would have preferred the default textures over this.
And anyway, have you read the rules?
Yes, I know it is just a suggestion, but making the 4000-th xray texture pack isn't very original, and having only an adfly link is very obnoxious. People agree.
I have a great idea for the adf.ly idea, I just don't want to reveal it yet. It includes a new texture pack though, and hopefully a much better, and more creative one. One that will tie into the theme of donating all the revenue from it to charity.
First off, did you even bother to look at what he posted?? He told you to temove the adfly link, and now you post again, with the same adfly link! Not even an alt!
And you're trying to prove something here? Because that is just stupidity.
I thought I sent you both proof pics, but I guess you must have gotten the same link twice. Anyway, here's my second proof picture, where he allows me to use adfly again: http://i.imgur.com/XwiK9.png
You want us to treat you like you've made something revolutionary here? Like you didn't just make another X-ray pack with minimal effort put into it, and slapped it behind adf.ly?
Cause, if that's what you want, you've got a LONG way to go.
We don't hand out compliments, and hell, we don't use half the packs we criticise. But we know what we're talking about, and if you're going to ignore every bit of it because of how it was worded... Well, for the safety of my Infraction Level, I'll cut myself off there.
If you actually want something that people would use, look at some tutorials, do some damn practicing, and for the love of god, make something original.
When I made this pack, I had searched for quite awhile on a few Minecraft websites, and had not found a single X-Ray texture pack for 1.31 yet. That's when I decided to make this. I don't think it's 'revolutionary' or anything like that, it would be nice though if people appreciated that you've worked on something. (that's what i'll get the comments about next) I've done a ton of switching around on this pack, had multiple people look through it, help me make changes, and I worked pretty hard on it, and this was pretty much my first texture pack. We all have to start somewhere on our work, and this is where I started.
@GrassyFilth No, I don't find that constructive criticism. You might, but maybe over the internet, the way you said it changed meaning. By "constructive criticism" I mean that if you find something you don't like, maybe make a suggestion to make it better. Complaining about it won't really do anything, but if you have a suggestion for it, that can help me out. I also like the grid sort of textures IMO. As for the PM proof, check your PM in a minute or two, and I'll send you the proof.
Gee, what a nice way to improve your pack.....
/sarcasm
It's my work dude, I do what I want with it. I take suggestions, but don't really listen to people who say: This sucks, this is garbage, this doesn't work, it's ugly as can be, totally useless, etc etc etc. I rather listen to people who say: Cool pack, I don't really like much about it, but I think you could improve it by changing this and this and this. THATS how I improve my pack, because honestly dude, what percentage of the people who hate the idea of this actually use it? Very few, that's a fact. I know also for a fact this pack may not be on par with other packs, but who cares? I'll keep working on it if I feel like it, haters don't really get me down. Heard of AdvancedUAV? Kinda like how he works. He may make crappy videos, but he has a genius brain.
Exactly. I don't really mind what people think of my work, if they think it's useless, that's fine with me. I've stopped trying to defend my work, seeing as it's pointless. I just do what I want, and create my work for fun.
I agree. Minecraft is supposed to be interesting, exciting....not with this pack. I can't see why people would play with this. It looks terrible. "hey! I found d1amod!!! Its a blue bloc with a D on it!!!! YAY!!!! NO.
The grass looks terrible, everything above ground (and below) looks absolutely horrendous, not to mention that you put an adfly link on this. There are absolutely tons of packs like this, theres not even a alt download.
Also, this:
Does not help you get constructive criticism.
Whatever dude, people can say what they want, it's fine. Glad you voiced your opinion on the pack!

Compare the 660 to the 7850, and the 7850 is better in 2/3 categories, and takes less power.
I personally have a 7850 and I love it.

I'm working on changing the grass to make it look prettier, and pretty much general looks of it.
