    Long ago, creatures roamed Minecraft... creatures that came from another place...
    But then... a light came from the End... the light drove back the creatures...
    The creatures gone, the light faded...
    But now, the creatures are back... and so the light has returned...

    It's Finally Here!

    Arkenite 1.2: The Void Update

    This is the biggest update to Arkenite yet, adding a ton of new features:

    • Void Walkers have been spotted roaming the Overworld for the first time since The Beginning! Watch out, they are highly dangerous!
    • If you succeed in slaying a Walker, it will drop it's Shards. Perhaps you can make weapons, a Void Sword from them?
    • Void Walkers are seen near dark, imposing mini-dungeons dubbed "Void Altars".
    • Void Altars are made of Hollow Bricks and Hollow Stairs. Their properties are yet unknown.
    • Upon the main altar lies two Dark Blocks of Fog, which drop a Bottle of Fog. Who knows what can be done with them?
    • It is said that combining the death drops of a Void Walker and a Creeper results in an explosive new creation!

    Other new excitement:

    • The spawn eggs for the Ender Dragon, Snow Golem and Iron Golem are now available in the Creative menu. Much easier to spawn...
    • Arkenite is now available in French (Canadian) and..... arrr, Arrkenite can be playe'd by ye pirate's too'.
    • Arkenite achievements! Get rewarded (in a physiological sense) for Obtaining Arkenite, Crafting an Arkenite Jagsword, and getting some Void Shards!

    Arkenite is a mod with, as you may have guessed, powerful creatures from the void, and a new ore, Arkenite, to fight these imposing creatures.

    Main Features:


    -The Void Walkers have returned to the Overworld after a untold time!

    -To face these creatures, Arkenite, the jewel of the End, has returned to the world.

    -Craft powerful weapons, tools and armor of Arkenite to summon the light and bring victory against the Enemy!

    TNT is very useful, and would make a lot of angry people if it was removed. I don't think for the sake of stopping spamming/greifing, it should be removed. There are lots of other ways to prevent that, plugins etc.

    According to the Minecraft Wiki, no type of armor reduces fall damage. Unless it's enchanted with Feather Falling, of course.

    Inside the preInit method of your main class , after you register your mob, place this line:


    EntityRegistry.addSpawn(LDEntityInfected.class, [spawn frequency, try 10], [min spawn at once], [max spawn at once], [creature type], [biome to spawn in]);


    The min and max spawn at once represent how many of your mob will spawn in a group.


    Creature type can be any of EnumCreatureType, such as EnumCreatureType.monster, which gives it attributes like a monster, such as spawning only at night.


    The biome to spawn in is one of BiomeGenBase biomes, such as BiomeGenBase.plains (You can find a list in net.minecraft.world.biome)

    If you want to spawn the mob in all biomes, use this instead

            {

    Holy..... That's one long list.

    Personally, I think Ghosts would be cool. Maybe if you die, a ghost spawns at your death point that looks like a transparent you, and it guards the stuff you dropped.

    You can do this with command blocks. Using a clock pulse (look it up if you don't know what that is) or a command block set to loop powering a command block with:


    effect @a[r=#] 16 1 true


    -Replace # with the raduis from which players will be affected by the effect

    -1 is the number of seconds the player is given night vision, because the command gives the effect constantly, it will keep the effect

    -true is if particles are hidden or not

    They are not there by default, you have to make them.
