Most likely, this is a RAM issue. Sense you just got you RAM repaired, it makes it the most sensible target. To help: What are the before and after specs of you laptops RAM? Also, try updating/re-installing Java
There was no change in RAM, it went from 8gb to 8gb.
I have tried to reinstall Java there was no change.

I'm having a problem with Minecraft where it freezes in a periodic way.
Every 10 or so minutes it will freeze for about 5 to 8 seconds, say Minecraft is not responding but then continue like normal.
This never use to happen but I recently got my laptop repaired due to the RAM becoming faulty and causing BSOD.
Oddly I can play on far with highest graphics and get between 70 and 150 fps.
My Specs are:
GPU: GT 520M
CPU: Intel i5-2410M @ 2,3Ghz
Hard Drive: 500Gb
I've always used IP changes for my computer whenever I browse the internet, this is mostly for security reasons. Recently though I have realised that it does not effect my Minecraft account, when I play on server I will have the same IP and what mine should be and it does not change.
I wanted to know if anyone is aware of some software I can download that will change my IP on Minecraft servers. Preferably it is a free download.
Server has basic plug-ins and has lots of potential, I enjoyed playing on the server until discovering the leading faction "Oblivion" has every VIP player, Helper (OP) and Admin in it and using their extra abilities given them an extremely unfair advantage over every other faction. Firstly they gave there faction an extra 2840 power (each play gets 10 power) and then they have put there base inside an unreachable portal in which no other player can get into.
On top of this when spoken against they immediatly muted me. I suggest finding another server, they're not difficult to come by.
The laptop most likely has switchable graphics and is most likely running on the integrated graphics. Right click on the Minecraft Shortcut and run it with your graphics card.

I use to run fps of about 160 - 200 after playing online with no problems it started lagging and I got a large drop in fps. I've reinstalled Java and minecraft but nothing seems to work. Now I struggle to get 10fps.
My laptop is relatively new (about 4-6 months) and all other games don't have any problems.
Has anyone else had this problem and is there a solution? Optifine doesn't quite do much change either.
Awesome Server! The new map is out! It is a great time for new players to join, already lots of PvP on the first few hours! I love the updated plugins especially the addition of boss monsters running around the map!
Just got a ton of money from winning a fishing competition ahaha i love the unique fishing plugin, it just makes it fun to fish. Finally figured out the customised armour, i can't wait to get some for myself! Great work admins i love this server so much!

Easily the best PvP server i've been on, even better it's Australian. There is no lag or connection problems just honest PvP and great fun.
Had an awesome battle today to keep my base unfortuanetly the enemy had tnt and blew up half my base, oh well, i rebuilt and didn't lose to much stuff. Still awesome fun though.

Great server to play on, lots of interesting plugins make it really exciting. The staff are great, im relavatively new and they helped me out a lot. Friendly community and just really fun raids. Haven't had any problems with connecting to the server and no lag.
So many raids and PvP is going on all the time. Easily my favourite server i have played on Keep up the good work staff
Having so much fun on this server, so much PvP and friendly staff makes it really great to play on. Still figuring out the custom weapons and armour, i really need to figure it out, going into battle and gettinghit by lightning or an exploding arrow makes it so much more exciting! great server keep the good work up
