I don't particularly like the potions and enchantments and such, but the rest of it seems great. I decided that I'm just not going to use potions, unless for some reason I need one to get the the Ender realm.

My friend just opened up a new public server and I'm here to get the word out. We have Towny, Lockette, Stargate, and other useful mods installed.

This server is partly PVP (PVP and griefing are allowed in the wilderness, aka the Relishlands). Don't complain about people stealing your stuff in the wilderness.

The server rules are listed in spawn.

Cookies are considered contraband in some towns. The mayor will kill you with an axe if you are found on town property with cookies.

I would break one of the corner portal blocks (portals don't require corners to operate), put it where the missing piece was, and reignite the portal with a ghast fireball.

Problem solved.

It is the way to survive creeper ambushes.

Okay, I made the skin. Photoshop decided it doesn't like PNG's and I had to go through a file converter to make it work. There might be some issues with white space floating on the head, but otherwise it came out all right.

I don't think you get the point. That is a survival challenge map, you seem to have named a lot of puzzle maps. And I have no idea how you are sure you can be speaking for "most users."

I don't think I care if you don't post your map. After you insulted a large amount of survival map makers and many of the people who enjoy playing their maps, I'd be surprised if anyone even looked at your map. If you do post it, I'll be happy to provide a link to this thread so others can see what you think of them.

So what if Minecraft doesn't make sense? You can level a mountain with a feather, beat a zombie to (re)death with a string, and obsidian is nearly indestructible (in real life, obsidian is extremely sharp, but relatively easy to break).

On a more serious note, if they thing the graphics are bad, CoD hasn't had any major changes to its graphics engine since CoD4, at least, as far as I can tell. Tell them that graphics aren't everything, and if they don't like how Minecraft doesn't make sense, ask them how often people in real life die from a flying knife handle to the foot.

IIRC, slimes will only spawn in low light on the surface. Cave slimes will spawn in any light level. Just light up your house and they shouldn't spawn inside it.

"A normal table can only enchant up to a cost of 5, but surrounding the table with bookshelves will increase the power up to a maximum of 50 (as of 1.9pre4). In version 1.3, the maximum was lowered to 30 which can be achieved using 15 bookcases, and a normal table could enchant up to a cost of 8."

15 bookshelves is all you need since the level was lowered to 30.

I. About Cavera

Cavera is a PvP server that focuses on providing a fun and enjoyable enviorment to slaughter eachother in. We started out as a small server in September of last year, and the owner closed the server down after he became too busy to run it. Enlisting the help of some clanmates, the owner has decided to reopen Cavera.

Cavera is a server full of interesting lore that stretches back hundreds, and even thousands, of years in the timeline. All of this lore is based on the events that took place on an earlier server the owner ran, which was a pure PvP server that took place in the land of Cavera. Our wealth of lore provides for an interesting storyline, and the events that take place shape the wars and battles of our PvP.

Factions is installed but only to protect your land while you are offline, when you're online it's just like vanilla minecraft

IV. Screenshots of Cavera

These pictures are from the spawn town on the old map, which was run by players. Everything you see was built by hand with legitimate materials.

The zoom function comes with the mod Optifine, install it and press left control to zoom

I think that Minecraft needs something to make the world more interesting in my opinion. Some cool particle effects would make it more dynamic and cool. Some would be biome exclusive. Here is the idea list:

- Leaves falling from trees occasionally in forest biomes
- Snow falling off the trees or cliffs occasionally when you walk by them in snowy biomes
- Mycelium falling out of big mushrooms
- Small rocks falling off of cliffs
- Low fog in swamps (at about foot level)
- Bubbles coming up from underwater occasionally in oceans, lakes, rivers, and ponds
- Sand blowing around the ground in deserts
- Bits of leaves and grass that blow around the ground in plains
- Bits of rock occasionally falling out of blocks of sandstone
- Small fish particles underwater
- Bugs jumping around in tall grass
- Sticks on forest floors

Will add more later.

Keep putting out content every day and keep working hard at it and your channel will grow. It's mostly putting out good content that people want to see, and partly luck of people finding you. But once you get a small base of subscribers going, more and more people will see your video and it's exponential growth from there.

I wonder if thats ever going to change to be more accurate?

I imagine a sort of Resetti like scenario, where your game locks up while animated Notch/Jeb ***** at you for killing a defenseless villager in a 20 minute monologue. The horror, THE HORROR!
