I made a mod with just one block (don't bother on asking) on MCreator, it has all the features and everything and is saved in the workspace. It doesn't export when I try to (it closes and no mod file gets created) , so I was wondering if there is a way of exporting a mod manually, maybe converting some files or somehow...
Well think about it. It's a pair of beetle fore wings (Elytra = Beetle Fore Wings) that are found in a ship, in a world filled with teleporting people who hate water.
Why would endermen need wings? they can teleport.
Why is it on a ship that "flys" already? Unless it's cargo or something...
Why is it beetle wings? The closest thing to a beetle that is currently in the game is a silverfish.
End ships were put to expand the end after it was cleared, as a source of the new item elytra which is the new final reward since the dragon egg was useless.
Igloos are like temples and stuff, come on....
The End is the counterpart of the Nether that was added after, as a Minecraft end, and now has its own unique useful reward and more to do than fight a dragon and never return.
I really think that with 1.8 and below they are really offtopicing.
It's a very good idea tu put another reward for killing the EnderDragon, and to expand the End, I just think the way they are doing it is non-sense.
I could say the same about villages, mineshafts, and even the Nether.
Villages were put like a place of trading, as a source of some items that weren't very common, like watermelon seeds, ender eyes, and the rarest, mail chain armor.
Mineshafts, are mine-themed, MINEcraft, come on...
The Nether is the counterpar of the End that was added before, as a Minecraft "end", has his own boss, and you need it for some others Minecraft features.
I really think that with 1.9 they are really offtopicing.
Which can be said about every update....
No new addition really ever seems to do anything else. That's why it's called a new feature. And it doesn't not fit the theme, so it's thematically fine.
Not every one.
When they were added, colestone walls were the cobblestone counterpart of fences, coal block was the block of the only mineral that had no block, rabits for the high-jump potion effect that was already in MC, redstone comparator, well, redstone, they were like an extension of normal Minecraft, but... the Elytra, the End ships, and some other things do are off-themed and have nothing to do with the rest of the MC world(s).
Not really. Everyone is posting why they like/dislike/love/hate 1.9, and what features they feel need improvement
I meant Mojang, they are offtopicing with the game. The Elytra, for example, has no logic within Minecraft, it's a very good mechanism but it has no relation to ANY other Minecraft feature.
but this is a suggestion. how can they add it to 1.7.10???
They are going to make a mod, and the mod will have a slime block, so it's gonna be for 1.8+, and I would like them to make a version for 1.7.10 too. I really don't see what's the matter with this thread being a suggestion...

But... it's a mod creator... and it's in the mods forum... ok, I'll try, but I've seen there's not too much feedack there...

That's why he said to take the rights to Minecraft, and push them back on him

You get my point!
Who/What made it then?/Where do they come from then? That makes it sound more non-sense.

I don't like the new ores and blocks (except of the compressed ones), but the idea is awesome!

Because you can use mods for that, and that "irrelevant stuff" is pretty much more game-changing than you think, it's not irrelevant.
